This is a good product that seems sturdy and well-made. It is designed so you can set the pole in different positions to get more distance horizontally or vertically from the bracket. The mounting hardware (screws and all) it comes with is good, but for my setup, I thought it would be easiest to mount it to the back of my deck with two mounting straps (about 2 feet long each), which worked well - there are slots for the straps and some careful routing and typing of the straps gave me a sturdy mount. However you mount this, the Tempest unit fits on the mounting pole very securely with the screw ring that comes with the Tempest unit. Highly recommended.

The Tempest Universal Mount exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s incredibly durable and was a breeze to install. After enduring rain, snow, hail and high winds, it remains securely in place and functions flawlessly. If you’re looking for a mount that can handle tough conditions and looks good, this is it! Easy to instal, perfect size get value.

The mount works great for my Tempest Weather Station head unit, using the mount on the bottom of the weather station. We have had wicked wind since I installed it 5 months ago and the unit has not moved. Very sturdy.

I have had multiple weather stations over the years and this one is the best. Comprehensive measurements, easy online access through the App and virtually trouble free. The base station did lose contact with the unit after a power outage. Their Tech Support got it back on-line. No problem after a subsequent power outage. I was skeptical about the rainfall measurement accuracy but it turned out to agree perfectly with my old fashioned tube gauge. Note: the factory default for rain uses regional data. You need to change it to your station only.

Worked fine with my new Tempest 26 Weather Station. My installation used hose clamps to attach it to my metal boat dock. I do wish it were about 12 inches taller.

Excellent quality! I mounted this to my out of use chimney with ease. It might be too short for some setups depending on how high above the ground your Tempest is from the roofline. Very easy to mount, just make sure you don't drop any of the mounting materials. While the setup seems intuitive, I would have appreciated if there were some instructions provided just for the sake of knowing what the preferred order of the spacers is.

The quality of the coated tubing and bracket is excellent.Should be completely free of any problems with weather over many years.It comes with a mounting gasket which makes a good seal against the mounting surface,mined in particular had a slight crease in the aluminum flashing that it sealed against the.I thought the screws were a little small but it’s only holding up about 2 pounds total and the bracket was very secure after mounting.Easy to adjust the pole for making the unit sit horizontal and it’s an easy to set up kit with a set of extra parts.Fair value for an all inclusive kit and it’s perfect to mount the Tempest unit on.

What can you say about a pole. Sturdy and fit for purpose. Perhaps an extra foot longer.

Eigentlich hatte ich es so verstanden das man die Wetterstation von Shelly so auf das Rohr stecken kann. Leider ist das nicht so. Als Lösung habe ich einen Besenstiel genommen. Vom Durchmesser passt der perfekt in das Rohr der Halterung und in die Wetterstation. Damit kann man die Höhe der Wetterstation noch einmal variieren.
