Brilliant Phone
Went from a Note 20 5g to this, camera on the note is better, battery life on this is much better and the camera is absolutely fine, just not as good as the Note.Love the screen and nxtpaper software, much easier on the eyes. Not being a Samsung I've had to migrate over to mostly Google apps, such as photo gallery, files, things like that, which work well, just need to adjust. All in all, for less than two hundred quid I genuinely think this must be one of the best phones for the money, and if, like me, you're coming from a flagship phone for the screen, you will be pleasantly surprised.

The screen broke too easily
The screen seems very delicate, it cracked so easily. I'm usually very careful with my phones, this is my first screen crackled to be honest. I already have to find a new one before my TCL gives up on me.

Hmm where to start with this... 🙄
Great as a phone! Great to browse apps with, but don't expect notifications! Considering the phone packs such a great RAM, don't expect to use it for games as it will just overheat. The screen is flimsy as hell and cracked with the slightest tap. There are much better budget phones out there 👍

First impressions
As per title, I was excited to receive it, but postponed opening till Christmas day. Upon opening box I read the pages in English about the product in the booklet provided, after reading I found that I was apprehensive about touching the screen as it didn't admit. Toughened glass protectors causing me to look at reviews about the Matt screens durability etc in particular using it for active social messaging which could easily result in scratches from the users flickering fingers and fingernails further TCL say very little about this issue to overcome my trepidation. Not it does no good for screen protector manufactures claiming their protectors are up to the job for the nxtpaper screen if using their product would automatical void TCL's guarantee. Being the person that I am, I will sadly have to return the product and cancel the protective case.

NHS hearing aid compatible
This phone works directly with basic NHS hearing aids via Bluetooth. No need for the phoneclip plus. Does media and phone calls of good quality through my ambio 67.

Outstanding.
Outstanding value for money. It has everything I need. What I love.5gAnti glare. The nxtpaper effect. Visual and feel. Choices between black and white or colour. It's like e-ink but 100 times smoother. The non slippery housing. The lack of blue light. All the configuration settings. The 256gb storage. And for what I don't like? The fast charge needs a bump up. Meant to be 33w charging, but feels more like a 15 or 20. Just slightly above normal. But I can live with that.I got this phone when it was £159 a month or so ago. It's so good, I won't ever go back to reflective screens on phones again.Nxtpaper are releasing a new phone in the 3rd quarter with further improvements. Can't wait.I can't recommend this phone highly enough.Best budget phone I've ever owned. Period.
