1kg Huge Bag Pork Scratchings 15 Different Flavours, High Protein, Low Carb (Salted)

I'll be honest, I had some reservations about buying scratchings outside of the well known named brands - worrying I'd find myself with a kilo bag of small, overcooked gravel - but those reservations evaporated after my first bite. I went with Salt and Vinegar flavour. The product was that perfect blend of melt-in-the-mouth and crunch. Flavoured scratchings tend to be either very mild where they don't taste of much at all, or blisteringly powerful, leaving your mouth sore and making your head sweat. These however were perfectly seasoned, although I found giving the bag a good shake before eating helped. The pieces are irregular in size and shape. There's some proper whopper scratchings in there, rather than just being a bunch of uniformed looking nuggats like you get in named brands. At £16.99 for a kilo they also represented value for money. The most common brand found in super markets retails for £1.92 per 100g at one well known UK supermarket (so £19.20 per kilo), where as the more modern, edgy, fashionable brand of pork products retails in the same supermarket for £2.89 per 100g (so £28.90 per kilo). These then are significantly cheaper than either, and better than both in my opinion. The product was dispatched and arrived earlier than expected, so don't be too put off by the delivery estimate of about a week. I expect this is because it is a freshly made product.

Just received my pork scratching and if your looking for proper Saturday night at the pub with your pint in one hand then these pork scratching would deffo by in the other great testing with no horrible after taste great find tbh

I bought Salt and vinegar for my keto diet. The problem is these are just so moorish and tasty that i think i ate too many. The sugars are a little high if you dont restrain yourself. I will definitely buy these again, but next time peri peri as these have less carbs and sugars.

I have ordered two times now. Salt and vinegar, and salted. Wow the salted is to much. I would give you 5star. But it is really too much salt. Great product I won’t order the salted again. But I’ll try the plain next time

OMG, THESE ARE DELICIOUS. SUPER TASTY AND CRUNCHY, BUT A BIT OF YUMMY CHEW TOO. LARGE BITS IN THERE TO. BETTER BY FAR THAN THE SUPERMARKET ONES IVE BOUGHT IN THE PAST. WILL BE A REGULAR CUSTOMER!

Got to say, that apart from this scratching being available, then unavailable on at least 2 occasions over the past 6 weeks. My last order was nowhere near the usual standard that it normally is. There were giant lumps of crackling in it that had to be broken up, there was also a lot more fat than usual, which unfortunately was very soft, almost damp tasting. It was also a very dark colour, usually it is a light brown colour. I won’t give up on the posh pig, but I hope my next kilo bag is a damn site better than this one.

They taste awful, powdery, odd taste and they are very hard and some pieces are huge. I would Not recommend these to anyone who is looking for quality pork scratchings, you might get a lot for your money, however, it’s just not worth it for the flavour and quality of product. Look elsewhere and save your money, we through all away after tasting them.
