Extremely happy with the size and quality of this projector. The picture clarity and color is excellent up to the edge of its limits, specifically in the dark. Light does reduce picture brightness and quality respectively to how bright it is. It's extremely portable, but I do recommend getting a screw in stand to help position the screen better. The obstacle avoidance and depth detector works well. There is a bit of delay when using the remote, so account for that. The sound is decent but connecting a Bluetooth speaker is preferable.

Compared a few portable projectors for use in my van. I want to remove my ceiling-mounted TV because I keep bumping my head on it, so I'm looking for something easy to set up and compact. Pairing this with a 40-inch Pile self-standing screen. I compared the Aurzen Boom Air and Nebula Capsule 3. Overall, I like the Nebula Capsule 3 and will keep that. - Picture Sharpness > Nebula - Brightness > tied between the two - Sound > Nebula (Clearer and fuller) - Overall projector noise > Nebula (you can hear the fan in the Aurzen) - Cost > Aurzen Boom Air - Overall value > Nebula If you can get the Nebula on sale, spend the extra 100 dollars for a better overall product. - Smaller footprint and more portable, especially for travel and camping. - Built-in battery makes it super easy to whip out and get your video up and running. no fuss.

The Nebula Capsule 3 is hands down the best tech purchase I’ve made in a long time. The picture quality is crystal clear, even in a dimly lit room, and the colors are vibrant. For such a compact device, the brightness and resolution blew me away. The built-in speakers are surprisingly powerful for the size—no need for an external sound system unless you really want that theater experience. Setup was a breeze, and I love how portable it is. I can take it anywhere—bedroom, backyard, or even on trips—and stream movies in seconds. If you’re looking for a small but mighty projector that delivers amazing performance without a bunch of hassle, this is the one. Worth every penny. I honestly don’t know how I lived without it!

I bought this to replace a Samsung Freestyle when it randomly stopped working after less than 20 months and they refused to help. The picture and sound on this Nebula is even better than the Freestyle and cost less! Picture looks nice even with a but of light in the room. The sound is nice and loud. I almost got a speaker and now glad I didnt cause there's no need. She's loud! Now in my opinion it needs the NEBULA Capsule Gimbal Stand. The orginal tilt of the projection was crazy lopsided for me. It absolutely could not get a correct keystone without the stand. But once the stand arrived it was easy peasy. Save yourself the annoyance and just gone ahead and drop that extra $30 something dollars. It should come with the stand IMO which is why I docked a star. Also learn from my mistakes with the Freestyle and GET THE INSURANCE. Yes its going to cost you another $40 but you'll pay more trying to replace it if it dies unexpectedly. I see no reason for this one to die, but I thought that about the Freestyle and now here I am replacing it. Ill revisit this review as time goes and I use it more.

Excellent product! love the portability, quality of materials, battery life and the quality of the video. 100% recommend the gimble base.

Bought this projector for presentations since it is portable and seemed like a good replacement to conventional classroom projectors. The image only looks good. But you need complete darkness. A cracked door or open window will drown out the image. The set up is not as intuitive as I would have hoped. There are a lot a features which can become overwhelming if you are considering purchasing for one specific purpose. Bring an extension cord with you because the battery will probably drain before you are finished. I think that most people will enjoy the novelty and the connectivity. I give it three stars because it did function, although did not have a good user experience.

It's really great that you can get a nice picture and good sound from a single, battery powered device. I got the non-laser version and can confirm that Netflix is preinstalled, very easy to use. The only downside is that sometimes (something like once every 2 hours of video play on Disney plus), the app restarts, and it takes about 2 minutes to get the video going again. Not the biggest deal, but it's very jarring, and a real pain when you have a movie playing downstairs for the kids. Also, your able to set the projector down and then manually adjust exactly where the image projects (to avoid the top part of the image from being on the ceiling in my case), but there's no way to save that setting, and it gets overridden any time you move the projector. Update 6/30/2025 I thought firmware/software updates would improve my experience, but quite the opposite. The majority of the time I turn this on and stream from either Disney Plus or PBS Kids, within 3 minutes the app just quits. I've tried all combinations of updating/restrating/reinstalling apps. I have to restart usually 2-4 times before it seems to run smoothly. At that point, it's hardly worth it. Anker reached out to me asking me to do some kind of logging and sending over diagnostics, but I don't have time for that.

I love my projector more than I've ever loved my TV. After a move I sold my TV and kept my projector. The Nebula capsule 3 has really great sound and picture. I did some research when picking this one, and I preferred it for its small size, quality of picture and sound, portability, and price. I've projected on white closet doors and not really noticed the doors behind the image. Now, I use it in my living room on a light yellow wall and I can adjust the settings for the color of my wall. I like hosting people for movie nights and the projector is great because the picture is so big and no one has to fight for a good spot to see what we're watching. I like that it integrates with all of my streaming platforms too. It takes a minute to turn on, but otherwise it's a responsive system.

its been months I am using and now its making a sound and `i reported it via warranty and Nebula denied service as the seller is not authorised, this should have been mentioned here now i am stuck with this

This projector is very high quality and highly recommended. Pros: - Google TV is in-built for all your streaming software - Supports Google Cast and Airplay (via Nebula software) - works even when it’s not too dark. - can be used as a standalone bluetooth speaker with dedicated button and quality is really good - automatic keystone adjustment and resize - compatible with camera tripods - compact size - very good picture 1080p resolution which is good enough for games and movies Cons: - doesn’t come with a stand or tripod - doesn’t come with a travel case - battery is good enough only for 1 movie - software sometimes freezes Despite the cons, this projector is the best compact projector I’ve seen especially for the price and portability.

Read the manual and understand the settings and also have reasonable expectations this is a 200 lumens projector so it works good in dark/light controlled environments, google tv works good, the auto adjustments sometimes has a little trouble fitting the screen to my 100 inch Projector screen but its almost always nice and focused, colour's are decent and picture is super clear and crisp, I use a 100 inch pull down Projector screen, white, 1.1 gain and it works great with the lower lumens, the sound is actually decent, quiet fan, battery life is ok and overall a solid Projector that is portable, i recommend getting the travel case and portable stand that fits in the travel case.

Amazing quality! The image is clear and sharp, and the projector is easy to move and set up anywhere. It even looks great when projected onto my white wardrobe.
