Musk Premium Grade Fragrance Oil - Scented Oil - 30ml

I got this oil to replace one by another company that is a lot more expensive. While the other one is good quality, I believe I actually prefer this EE oil more! I have nothing but great things to say about both the product and the company. Eternal Essence was very nice about getting ingredient information to me, even took my info and called me back. Very great customer service. Super prompt delivery as well. As for the product itself, I am amazed. The quality of the oil for the price is a steal!! I collect essential oils and fragrance oils, specifically to wear, and am always on the search for the musk holy grail. This is SUCH a good one. I would describe it as half a floral musk and half more of a masculine musk, but it ABSOLUTELY would work well on women, especially if you do well with notes such as amber, bergamot, musk, vanilla, sandalwood... etc and you like fall/winter fragrances.. it really warms up to your natural body heat and is an amazing smell. I also get a scent out of this that reminds me of one of my all time favorite scents, "Tam Dao" by Dyptique, and I don't think I need to mention the price of their fragrances, so to get this almost replica of it, was just amazing. Please please Eternal Essence, never stop making this oil, or if you must discontinue some, never quit making the musk!

Smells great

When I opened the bottle it smelled like Jlo Glo--same thing when I applied some oil to my inner arm. I also thought the fragrance was weak, which was why my bottle of Jlo just sits on the shelf. But I got some essential oils from Whole Foods & mixed the musk in w/ bergamot & myrhh & was surprised by its ability to hold its own among two strong fixatives. The musk is not the predominant note in my fragrance mix, but it complements the other oils well & feeds my need to smell like musk everyday w/o having to wear Jlo. It is not weak, it is just not the lovely musk my mother had on her dressing table when I was a child. I'm pretty sure some animal died for that stuff, so this synthetic is fine w/ me. I will update my review when my fragrance is finished aging, as it's important to know how these oils wear when you are making soaps or perfumes w/ them.

I used to wear Coty’s Wild Musk years ago - and loved the smell. This is not Musk - it has a soapy smell. It makes me cringe when I tried it. Sending back.

I originally wrote a review warning people about this product because it doesn't have any noticeable musk fragrance to it. It's very flowery, then just fades to nothing. The musk never arrives. My original review compared it to some other products that I named. Two are a little and the other a LOT better. I suspect the seller was able to get the review censored because I named them. So I won't this time. I'll just say that there's a company that sells a pair of musk blends as a set and are a little better in that they do have some musk. Not much, but there's some. And there's a product that is clear that has been around a LONG time and it's exquisite. If you want musk, find it. The seller did give me an unrequested refund along with a message mentioning the review, so I came back to add two stars for that because I believe they are sincere about their products. (Hats off to them for that!) That's when I found out they had taken the review down. (Boo!!) I would not have asked for a refund on this kind of product unless there was something really wrong with it. It's not their fault I don't like it! But I accepted because to call this a musk is deceptive. I LOVE good musk, and have an embarrassingly large collection of them, most of them miss the mark, but none like this one. Musks can be tricky because many people are anosmic to some musk chemicals, especially the larger, longer-lasting molecules, so perfumers'ALWAYS use at least a few musk chemicals in their formulations. I have not found any to which I'm anosmic, yet I smell NO musk scent from this. Worse, I read an answer to a question that described it as woody and masculine. This is neither woody, masculine, nor musky. It has a very floral (rose or geranium, maybe some lilac, carnation or iris, and something that might be a tree blossom — I don't know florals very well) a spice hint (maybe Cardamon) which develops into … nothing.. I put a pile of it on a wrist to see if more is better. I'd love to raise the rating for scent at least! Just a flower bomb. :( It's a nice smelling flower bomb at first, but I'm a guy, and this just gets thicker and sweeter the longer it's on. I'd suggest this as the floral heart of a more balanced, sophisticated blend with something bright on top to brighten the heavy flowers, and something underneath for warmth and support. Musk would be nice. Even a little. I just don't want people to go through what I did — anticipating something warm and musky but getting a floral blend instead. Hopefully, if I omit the names of the others that are better, this review will remain available to inquisitive customers. Reviews are the only way to get any sense of how something will smell, and I was mislead by an inaccurate review. (It may have just been old and they've reformulated. In any case, it's not what it claims if you buy it currently.) If wereI the seller, I'd solicit, value, and reward honest feedback, not try to hide it! I honestly think this bottle is mislabeled, but they apparently don't care to investigate it, and don't want you to know it either. I'm just trying to spare then some unhappy customers! (You're welcome, Eternal Essence.) If you're reading, I'll happily send it back so you can check, because after an hour on my wrist, it just smells kind of like Turkish Delight. Relabel it, and you've got a great product for someone other than me. I also got the Eternal Essence Cardamon Cedar Blossom oil. It's a nice, feminine scent, but, the Cardamon for which I bought it is a merely a hint in the mix. So, just be aware that these are definitely very feminine and the names are not the most accurate, IME.

I read the reviews and was worried a bit about what others said in criticism, I bought it anyways. It’s teasonavly priced so I took a chance. It really smells lovely. I’d say it’s not necessarily masculine of a fragrance but It could be used for a man. It’s more unisex. Add to it and it could go wonderfully in either direction. A very pleasant symphony of fragrance to make this version which I find to be quite nice. I’m glad I got this after all. 🤗 My only wish is that it was a teeny bit stronger. That’s only because I like it that much . It’s still really great though.

The Musk is not real strong but VERY pleasant !
