I bought this as I'd seen in the reviews it is a good, natural relief for herpes. I've always known lemon balm is great for outbreaks so I was hopeful this would be a worthwhile purchase. Well yesterday I noticed I had a blister about the size of a 5p, and a few spots had shown up too (I've hsv2). I put this product directly on top of the blister and the spots at about 7pm after work, this morning I've woken up completely clear. Breakout literally gone 🤯 I am in shock. This works better than any antiviral medication (those don't actually work at all for me) and not only did it clear the outbreak but any pain/discomfort was gone within minutes of applying as well. I even had a scar from an outbreak I had a few years ago, just looked like a spot that had never gone, had it for years now. This even has started to clear that up. Couldn't recommend this product enough if you also have herpes outbreaks. I'll be buying this again for sure.

Great ointment, works well, soothes skin, does the job

I have just recently got HSV and it’s been the most painful year with symptoms every week. This does help soothe the itching and burning. Will update when I have used it more consistently.

A little pricey but honestly helps with so many things related to skin, will help heal any sores or skin irritations quicker than usual. It also helps calm acne when used in combination with other products, I personally use a little with my retinal cream when needed also helped calm an itchy scalp. I have bought two pots so far.

Really excellent product. I suffer from really bad cold sores and I wish I had discovered this years ago. I also had a really bad burn on my foot recently which I had been trying to heal with antibacterial creams and sprays which didn’t make any difference. After a few days of applying the balm it’s really starting to heal. Thankyou

I get breakouts and I prefer using natural herbal solutions than prescription pills and ointments. This lemon salve heals the breakouts quicker and is made of all natural ingredients. It's even healing the scar tissue and softens my skin.

Very soothing

Apparently some recommendation that this would help with the shingles virus but in my experience this was not the case. Not sure what else you would use the balm for.

This stuff works wonders for cold sores! It has helped past outbreaks clear up more quickly than anything else I have tried. I have also used it to prevent many outbreaks - I use it whenever I feel a cold sore coming on, or if I've had any kind of cold sore trigger (sunburned lips, significant stress). Anytime I think I might get a cold sore, this is what I apply. I have had barely any outbreaks since using this, and I used to have them so frequently that I was on daily antiviral medication. This product has saved me from so much discomfort. A 2 ounce container has lasted me a very long time. The only con I can think of is that it is pretty greasy, but that's a small price to pay for the relief it has given me! HIGHLY recommend for anyone struggling with cold sores
