Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Washable Mascara, Volumizing, Lengthening, Defining, Curling, Multiplying, Buildable Mascara Make Up Formula, Blue Mist, 1 Count

I was a dyed-in-the wool Cover Girl Professional Lash customer for over three decades. Then they changed the formula and what ensued was another decade of trying to find a mascara that actually washes away with water. Found it!! Not only does the mascara have a nice long brush and lengthens my lashes without clumping, it appears to have more than a month’s worth of product in it, and it washes off beautifully. This is my new favorite! Here are photos of my left eye without mascara and my right eye with. Love it!

Out of curiosity, I ordered this Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky-High Mascara in Blue. As a new user of this brand’s mascara, I love the cylindrical tube in blue with bronze raised letters that say SKY HIGH. This tube of mascara felt good to hold, due to the raised letters and being a little larger and more substantial than most. I also loved the lush wand-brush inside. It has great flexibility, unlike any of the other mascaras I use, and I like having such a bendable tip to apply my mascara. The brush itself picks up the right amount of mascara in the tube, and because the brush is so lush, it easily separates lashes during application. Love that! The mascara goes on easily, without clumps or smearing. Love that too! I was able to easily remove a misplaced spot of mascara under my eye with just water. As for longer lashes, because my lashes are so long to begin with, I didn’t layer it on to achieve longer thicker lashes. However, that is one of its’ selling points. I really liked the subtle suggestion of blue color on my lashes… it was noticeable but not over-the-top. Because I wear lots of blue, the subtle pop of blue in this mascara is very pretty on me but not overpowering. This mascara was comfortable to wear all day too and it didn’t irritate my eyes. Since my eyes are sensitive, this is all-important to me in eye products. Lastly, taking it off was easy with a regular makeup remover — no tugging or rubbing necessary. Overall, I highly recommend this mascara for more length, definition, and a pretty hint of color.

I havn't worn blue mascara in years! I thought it would be fun to try some again, and when i spotted that the Maybelline sky high came in blue I thought 2 birds 1 stone. I have wanted to try this mascara for awhile now. It gets such high ratings. I am a 50 yr. old woman. I placed this mascara on just one of my eyes So you Can see with and without. I am not wearing anything else on my face, as my husband would say "you're naked bald eyes" lol. It is true, I have very light lashes and the past few years i have noticed my eyelashes are getting shorter and more sparse. I really liked the wand. It is flexible and carries a lot of product, but the product itself took many layers to lengthen my lashes. There are 3 coats on my left eye. More if you count how many fresh dips I applied. By the 3rd application (allowing it to dry between coats) it was starting too clump and turn spider-y. There is some modest volume and length added to the lashes but not as much as i had hoped for. The commercial make them seem like this will give you crazy long lashes. I was a bit disappointed. I will say however the blue is striking without looking strange. It's a pretty electric blue and looks pretty in my lashes. Over all it is a decent mascara for the price. It's good quality, and didn't make my eye water. Color payoff was great and if I had more youthful lashes, it may have worked better. I know there are several photos, but I figured might as well give it the chance too show it in is best light. How it helps!

I was hesitant to purchase this but then I was hesitant with many choices based on some reviews. I finally decided to give this a shot after reading a review from a make-up artist. Glad I listened to her. I love the color I chose, true brown, love the brush as well. No clumping and stayed on all day, no flaking.

I have never been blessed with luscious lashes. I remember when I was a kid, and I used my mom's mascara - instead of being told how great I looked, it was suggested that my lashes looked charred. Neat! I expect it was because that stuff was clumpy and my eyelashes were short. All that to say, I've spent the rest of my life being careful with mascara. I typically go for lengthening over thickening formulas, because the thickening always looks clumpy. Enter this Sky High mascara by Maybelline. True facts, this stuff is great. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about using blue mascara (after all, it's not the 80s anymore), but my hesitation was unwarranted. Even though this stuff is very blue in the tube, it's much more subtle when you're wearing it. Other things of note: the applicator makes it easy to get defined lashes. The mascara dries pretty quickly, and it resists transfer during the day. I have sensitive eyes, but this doesn't cause any irritation. It comes off easily enough with soap and water. All in all, I really like this mascara. Don't let the color scare you away! It's really not that bold.

Loved it! No clumping, great lengths added, would buy again

I’ve been using the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Washable Mascara for a couple of weeks now, and overall I’m really impressed. The biggest standout is the length. It genuinely makes my lashes look noticeably longer without needing multiple coats. The flexible brush does a great job grabbing even the smaller lashes, and I didn’t have much issue with clumping as long as I applied it carefully. It also holds a curl better than I expected for a washable formula, which is a big plus. Another thing I appreciate is how lightweight it feels. My lashes don’t get that heavy, stiff feeling some volumizing mascaras can cause. It’s also easy to remove at the end of the day, which makes it great for everyday use. That said, it’s not perfect. While it does add some volume, if you’re looking for a very bold, thick lash look, you might find it a bit lacking. I also noticed a tiny bit of smudging under my eyes after a long day, though nothing too extreme. Overall, this is a great mascara for length and a more defined, lifted look. I’d definitely repurchase, especially for daily wear, but I’d pair it with something more volumizing for special occasions.

I've never tried a colourful mascara like this one, but I have to say it's really pretty and creates a unique look. Instead of the usual black and brown shades, this one is a vibrant blue. However, it doesn't actually look unnatural when worn. Instead, the blue tone adds some depth and brightens the eyes, especially on wearers with darker hair. The mascara is simple to apply and the brush is soft and flexible. It's easy to reach all angles around the eyes and apply only the amount you want. The wand isn't as big as some I've used, but still provides good coverage. The mascara itself washes off with any cleanser or even plain water. I prefer this type of formula because it isn't stubborn and it doesn't leave behind racoon smears. My only concern is this is a little clumpy. Clumps form at the bottom of the wand and this can end up going on too thick.
