I Was Having the Blues But This Cured It!
I wasn't initially sure about this pedal, being more of a heavy distortion metalhead. But I was pleasantly surprised. If you have a solid-state amp, this pedal offers a solid edge of breakup sound, though not quite on par with a high-end tube amp. It's a good pedal overall with no major complaints. While it might not get extremely growly, creative gain usage can compensate. The bright and normal switch adds some brightness, though the tone knob's effect is somewhat limited. The only drawback, considering its price point, is that it leans towards being tamer, which might not suit those looking for experimentation. For blues and funk-influenced players who prefer staying in the pocket with occasional bursts, it's a great choice. Even professional gigging musicians might find it appealing, but it depends on your music style. In any case, it does its job well, sounding good.

Great Addition to My Pedalboard!
I am very pleased with the sound of this overdrive pedal. I have been replying on two amp sim pedals whenever I needed OD. Having accumulated enough distortion and other effect pedals, I decided to add this as a dedicated OD pedal. I appreciate the full but controlled OD sound it provides. The OD is not too brash and the controlled sound allows for more character and nuance in the sound. When I am playing with my base guitar sound (always on pedals), this adds a nice OD that I was not getting before. I tried various pairing and sometimes this doesn't mix with some (like most pedals). But it pairs really well when it does and sounds great alone!

Great lower gain overdrive
Got this one on a deal too good to pass up. I've been using a TC Electronic Cinders as my "Blues Driver" type OD. This pedal sounds very similar. Not sure which one I like better. It works better through a solid state amp, but still sounds great through some tubes. The bright switch adds a little top end sparkle. Overall I'm pleased with this one. Many of these lower end pedals leave much to be desired.

Good intro to pedals
Very sturdy construction. Arrives really well packaged. At current sub £50 really good intro to pedals. Good for starting off getting beyond the basics of guitar pedal. Best way to describe to laymen or beginner is it gives really 80's vibes ! A nice deep twang to the sound. Was really impressed with the true bypass. When off it completely cuts out, even at higher volumes cant tell its in the flow when in off position. Good for leaving in place and not having to dismantle cables when just wanting to jam without it.

Blues Overdrive at less than Beheringer Prices
The pedal does what it supposed to do. At this pricepoint this transparent overdrive emulates the more expensive pedals this pedal is based on. From a clean boost to a bluesy overdriven sound. If you are looking for a blues overdrive pedal that doesn't break the bank, this is worth a second look.
