This little hot dog steamer is fantastic. We use it every night in our concession stand and get so many compliments on how great the hot dogs taste. We love how quickly it can cook just a small nunber of hot dogs. Only advice to others is dont try to warm cheap buns, they will end up hard and crunchy.

I actually got this so I could do a pop up hot dog cart and let me tell you, it worked really well and its able to hold over 20 hot dogs and the warmer was able to hold at least 12 regular size rolls! It cooked the hotdog in less 10 minutes and kept warm for a long period of time! And let’s not forget the design 🥰🥰the pop up was at a football match so the color red game day was just perfect and it’s really small in size so it fits perfectly on the table with the snow cone machine along with other stuff

I recently purchased a Game Day Hot Dog Steamer and have used it four times now. The hot dog steamer has two distinct operational modes: High and Warm. The High mode brings the water to a boil, generating steam for rapid heating. The Warm mode, by contrast, should maintain a gentle simmer, producing lower steam output suitable for keeping the hot dogs warm. However, in practice, the Warm mode fails to function as intended. When selected, the unit continues to operate at full boil, indistinguishable from the High setting. This not only undermines the purpose of having a dual-mode system but introduces several operational and safety concerns. As a result, this causes excessive water evaporation because the unit continues to boil aggressively in Warm mode, requiring the water pan to be refilled more often than expected to prevent it from running dry. The inability to maintain a true warming temperature compromises hot dog quality and energy efficiency, as the unit consumes more power than necessary. This may simply be a one up defective unit and thus I recommend inspecting the Warm mode operation to ensure it is working properly. This issue suggests either poor-quality control or a malfunction in the mode-switching mechanism.November 11, 2025, Update:After writing the review above, I decided to take the unit apart to modify it so it would function properly. To my surprise, I discovered the reason it hadn’t worked as intended. There are two thermostat switches attached to the heating plate. One appears to control the warming temperature, while the other seems to prevent the unit from overheating when the water boils off.I swapped the wires between the two thermostat switches, and that resolved the issue. Yes, I’m sure I voided the warranty, but now it works as intended. Since then, I’ve been using it once a week to serve hot dogs at our Monday night football gatherings without a hitch. I can only assume this was a quality control oversight. No excuse!
