Betsey Johnson Womens Butterfly Charms Layered Necklace

BEAUTIFUL!!! I read other reviews that their necklace came as a tangled mess so for the past two years, I wouldn't order this piece. I have several Betsy Johnson pieces I've bought here on Amazon and I haven't been disappointed in any of them. They are always in pristine condition and some came in a BJ box. This necklace didn't come in a BJ branded box. It was carefully woven between a long layer of bubble wrap. You could tell the shipper wanted to make sure this necklace did not get tangled as it could easily do so in shipping since they were not putting it in a box. The bubble wrapped necklace was enclosed in a clear plastic ziplock bag, not much for gifting, but I guess buying it at a discount you lose the branded packaging. I'll admit, the packaging was a little off-putting to me when I first saw it, but once I saw how beautiful the necklace is and it wasn't tangled at all, the packaging wasn't an issue for me. I want to wear this, but I know it will tangle around my neck a bit and that is a bummer. I don't usually buy necklaces that are 3-in-one because I think they would tangle, but I've been looking at this necklace for a few years, and now I see she offers different styles and color themes of this necklace so I had to buy one. I'm happy with my purchase.

My daughter loves this necklace- it’s quite pretty and a flattering length. But beware, it tangles easily.

The plastic bubble wrap was horrible as the necklace was wrapped or should I say thrown in it therefore making it hard to get each section apart. I had to reset part of the chain because packaging that way had damaged it, I had to work on it and fix it, quite disgraceful.. Her shop used to be next to my Uncle’s shop in London, so I had some lovely cardigans, and earrings from her, that were beautifully boxed not like this. This is necklace goes with a pair of earrings I had from her years ago, so the actual design, and piece is very nice, therefore I was excited to see it on Amazon, and I will be keeping it .. I noted it is very fragile, and not top quality, so I hope it lasts, we will see .. Went to put it in for New Year 2024 it’s just falling apart, and since I got it I really haven’t worn it much in the last couple of years …

Stunning and beautiful each time that I wear this piece I receive so may compliments it is just like the picture and lays well. I’d buy again

I love Amazon’s new concept of “try before you buy” even though I have found that I usually buy what I try. This is one of those things that I have had on my wish list for a while, but couldn’t justify spending the money - other bills and things were more important. But the other night, with a little Christmas melancholy and hope, I said “I deserve something whimsical and fanciful this holiday season. I work too hard not to order something every now and then that I want, but don’t necessarily need. Besides, if not now (during these crazy times), then when?” So what could it harm if I click, “try for 7 days before you buy it.” This was really because I thought that MAYBE I would’t really keep it. Guess what, I LOVE IT. It is so unique and fun, that I didn’t even wait on the 7 days to expire before clicking keep/buy. This Betsey Johnson necklace is beautiful. It is a mixture of layers, beads, and fun!! It is colorful - accented by hearts, flowers and beads. It is whimsical and fun. It will match any and everything. This was the perfect purchase with the exception of the packaging. Maybe it was because this was a “try before you buy” item, but this necklace literally arrived in a ziplock baggie. No thrills or frills at all, which was disappointing since this necklace is so pretty. Personally, I think the packaging should match the look of the necklace - nice. With the exception of the packaging, this necklace is 5 stars.

Lovely necklace - not a surprise as all of Betsey Johnson's jewellery is so good. This one is a lovely mix of charms but still manages to look charmingly elegant.
