Awesome sauce, literally!

Im a hot sauce guy and this is definitely some good hot sauce. For reference, this stuff is actually hot, not ridiculously hot like ghost pepper sauce and not disappointingly tangy like half the "hot" sauces out there. A real, not too tangy, nicely hot hot sauce.

This hot sauce is delicious, I normally don’t eat habanero because it’s just heat and no flavor but this stuff is full of flavor.

Favor is ok, good heat & value, however it contains FD&C Red 40 food dye. While it has not yet been banned by the FDA, they did announced a plan in April 2025 to phase out six petroleum-based synthetic dyes, including FD&C Red No. 40, by the end of 2026, to transition them to natural alternatives. This decision followed concerns about potential hyperactivity in children and a link to cancer in animals, though the FDA has not confirmed these effects in humans. (Why are we using petroleum products in our food in the first place?!?)

I've been using this sauce for several years now. I was introduced to it by our favorite Mexican restaurant. Be aware that this sauce is made with habanero peppers, so it is very hot. A little of it goes a long way in any dish you are preparing. If you haven't used this before, use it very sparingly at first. Also, if you have had any on your hands, make sure to wash them thoroughly before getting them anywhere near your face (especially your eyes) or you will be sorry. This works well with all Tex-Mex spicy foods.
