I’m very happy with this Royal Angels baby nail trimmer. It makes trimming my baby’s nails so much easier and less stressful compared to using regular nail clippers. The electric nail file is gentle, quiet, and safe to use, even when my baby is sleeping. I really like that it comes with different colored pads for different ages, so it can be used from newborn stage to toddler age. The labeled case also keeps everything organized and easy to find. The LED light is very helpful because it makes it easier to see the tiny nails clearly, especially when using it at night or in low light. It does a good job smoothing the nails without hurting the baby’s skin. I also like that it can be used for the whole family, not just the baby. The baby blue color is cute, and the set feels convenient and well made. Overall, this is a very useful baby item and gives me peace of mind when caring for my baby’s nails. I have a 5 month old and have been too afraid to cut his nails with clippers so I’ve been biting them instead - that’s what my mother, best friend, sister, and sister in law did and they swore that was the best method. That worked for us too until my poor little boy’s big toe got infected because of me biting his nail. I felt awful. I was skeptical of this, but bought it because of the great reviews. I immediately used it and let me tell you something, I’m OBSESSED. This gets the nails shorter than I ever could and it truly does NOT hurt the skin. There are different attachments based off of baby’s age. The attachment/grinder was basically against his skin the whole time and never irritated him or broke skin. He didn’t mind AT ALL. It’s super easy to use and the process was quick. I feel SO much more confident and better about keeping his little nails short. I’m so thankful I found this product and bought it! Totally recommend and now I have the perfect baby shower gift to get for friends.

Worked exactly as described. Very simple and safe for baby.

It works really well, it doesn’t hurt at all. She actually enjoys me doing her nails. It helps prevent scratching, but you have to do it every day carefully so there aren’t any sharp edges. Their nails grow so fast as babies. But it does minimize the use of mittens that get lost so quickly. Wish I bought it sooner! One caveat is the flashlight it in a weird spot and pretty useless as you actively use it besides getting the babies attention. Sorry I can’t share the photo I took unless I give the app permission to use my camera. I can’t just add a photo anymore apparently. But it looks like the picture.

This was such a great purchase! My newborn kept on scratching himself and I am WAAYY to scared to even think about cutting his nails with baby no clippers. However, this makes it so much easier to shorten his nails!! And I feel way safe for doing so! It is so useful and I truly feel safe using it on my baby. It seems to be pretty durable and comes with a good amount of replacement pads. I will definitely be using this until it wears out! And I highly recommend!

This is really cool, I try to cut nails scissors, but it’s really not safe for the baby, and hard, but this product very safe and works good, much easier to use but safety is the big priority

This baby nail trimmer set has some good features but also notable limitations. The 21-in-1 kit with labeled case is convenient and includes a variety of tools and replacement heads. The electric filing is generally gentle and safe for baby's nails, which is the main advantage over traditional clippers. However, I've found that it doesn't do a great job with the corners of the nails. The filing heads struggle to reach and properly smooth the nail corners, which means I often have to go back and manually file or trim those areas. This defeats some of the convenience factor. More concerning is that it sometimes leaves sharp edges after filing. I've had to do additional smoothing with a traditional nail file to ensure the edges are completely rounded and won't scratch the baby's delicate skin. This is disappointing because the whole point of getting this was to avoid any sharp edges. The device works okay for the center portion of the nails and is quieter than expected, which is nice for not startling the baby. The multiple speed settings are helpful. But given the corner issues and sharp edge problems, I'm giving it 3 stars. It's an okay supplementary tool but not the complete solution I was hoping for.

My baby has just turned 3 months old and this has been imperative to our care routine. I was apprehensive about buying clippers as I have a tendency to cut my own skin when using them, so this battery operated file has been a game changer. I love that there are different levels of grit that match the baby's age, and a couple of bits for adults too, as well as replacements. I paid roughly £16 for this and it has absolutely paid for itself given the range of bits as it will see my LO through his first year at the very least. It has two rotation options - clockwise and anti-clockwise, as well as two speeds both ways. The case it comes in is compact and easy to store. It functions well and as expected, and it's very gentle on my newborns nails, but with any device like this parents should always exercise caution and take care when using. It isn't too loud and I usually manage to use it while baby is sleeping, which is a benefit to those whose babies may not like having their nails filed. I also recommend doing it while they sleep as its a lot easier than trying to wrestle them to stay still. An extremely easy to use device that has taken the anxiety out of taking those cats claws down. I would use again in the future if we have any more children.
