Sturdy and great product
Great product easy to assemble. Works very well. Does not tip over if you put sand in the base. Definitely cannot use water or it will not be sturdy. Been using it for a couple months without issue.

Good product
It’s sturdy enough. I wish it was a little smaller in circumference. But I like it and use it almost every day.

Good for apartment living room - carpet floor
Moderately good product for a moderate price. Filled with 250lbs of play sand and withstands Muay Thai kicks. It does move a bit but if you circle around it as you train it should easily stay within a 3’ circle. Recommend minimum 6’ radius work zone from center to train comfortably.

It’s the best
As a Muay Thai mom to a Karate kid. This keeps us both busy. Love it. We filled with sand and it took a bit of time even with our large funnel but I prefer to fill with sand. It’s very durable and great quality. The weight is great and the size is full size and perfect for what we do.

Solid Product - Use Sand not Water
I'm only writing this review because it seems like neither the reviews nor the manual do a good job of illustrating to people the difference between water and sand when it comes to filling the base. The base has a capacity of about 33 gallons. A gallon of water weighs about 8.3 lbs and a gallon of dry standard sand weighs about 13 lbs. Sand is a little more than 1.5x as heavy as water per volume. Going with sand allows you to put more weight in the base per volume. Also water, as a liquid, is going to carry force throughout the water meaning when you hit the bag it will generate waves in the water within the base. Sand on the other hand is solid and will deaden the force not allowing it to carry throughout the sand in the base nearly as much. Sand does a better job of reducing the force that acts on the base from hits the bag takes, meaning it is even less likely to slide around. I'm 6'3 220lbs and I put 250lbs of sand in this base (which is a little under 60% full) and it stands on a concrete floor so there's not a ton of friction and I can open up on this bag without it moving very much at all. The bag height is perfect for my height I would say at about 6'6 this bag may start to be a bit short for you, but everyone around or under my height will probably enjoy this size bag. If you want there to be absolutely zero movement you can grab a thin rubber mat, like what you would place under an elliptical machine, which will adhere great to most smooth surfaces (i.e. concrete, tile, hardwood, etc.) and that should solve most of your issues. If you do decide to go with sand be sure to grab a funnel at Home Depot or where ever you buy your sand at, it'll make filling the base way easier. The manual will tell you to use the bag as a lever to help you distribute the sand within the base, I'd say skip that and just replace the lid, grab the base on the side with the opening and lift with your legs to re-distribute the sand between each 50lb bag. TL;DR: Good product & if you want a more sturdy base fill it with sand instead of water, especially if you're a guy and you don't want to have to pull your punches. If you're reading these reviews and you're worried about stability don't be, disregard people who filled the base with water and have complaints about movement so long as you're comfortable filling yours with sand you will get a far better result.

Keeps Me Sane
I have been pounding on this bag as hard as I can for years now and it just takes it. All of your frustrations, stress, pretending this is a bully: this bag just TAKES it. Thanks so much for a phenomenal product! I bought this in 2014. April 2020 update: I’m still using and abusing this. It should be noted that I have the base filled with rocks and it is very heavy. I also have fairly grippy mats under it. I’ve been boxing/training off and on for 16 years and my punches certainly shift it, but just an inch or two thanks to the setup. Still loving it and factually will buy this again if I wear it out. I don’t kick or have any particular interest in doing that. I believe there is an XL version that has more coverage with the padding and would be better suited for that. February 2021 update: STILL using this. Constantly boxing, trying new gloves and really pounding on this bag. I tried to zip tie it to the position I like, but the zip ties exploded after a few punches lol. I may put a rod through, may not. It's not much trouble to reposition exactly where I want it. December 2021 update: In transitioning to kickboxing, the padding is finally showing a bit of wear in the middle. Which makes sense. Just a bit of a small fold, yet still in fantastic condition now almost 7 years later. I’ll just keep pounding on it until it dies lol April 2022: It has finally needed some repairs. The tabs that lodge the back to the post have worn down and are no longer effective. As such, the bag simply falls. After trying a few solutions, I’ve found that drilling a few holes and installing heavy duty drywall anchors and screws has fixed it. I installed four. If they break, I’ll distribute the pressure by adding more. If that fails, I’ll cut the inner post off and instal nuts and bolts. Right back to it! June 2025: It didn’t break lol.

Good punching bag I like it.
Love it feels great to hit thumbs up. 6 bags of 50lb sand bags makes this base very hard to move so think about that.

Good for light/medium training.
This is a good bag for cardio and occasional big hits. It will move if hit with power but generally it stable. I like feel of this bag and adjusts easily. Tried medium light punching hold up well but heavy hitting or say a lunge kick would move it. Overall I'm pleased with this purchase.

Great quality bag worth the money
I teach kickboxing classes and do one on one and this bag is perfect filled up. It’s heavy enough. It goes too many levels. It’s very sturdy and I have no doubt it will last me a very long time.

Great product
It came a lot faster than I expected and it’s exactly what I used to use in taekwondo when I was training. Same durability and size. Great purchase
