Hard Bottom Dog Car Seat Cover for Back Seat, Back Seat Extender

Purchased this to use in my CRV-SUV for a lengthy road trip with my 60lb dog. What a game changer. I love how the sides easily zip up and contain my dog, I think it makes her feel more secure as well. Also, the hard bottom actually “extends” the width of my back seat so she was able to stretch out and sleep. My pet is not a car lover and is typically very anxious when traveling. This product definitely made a huge difference for her AND her driver!

Honest assessment after using for a year. This item is a game changer! We travel A LOT, long drives(14-16 hours) multiple times a year, so this has been well tested. Before buying this we were separating our 2 dogs in the back seat with a cooler to keep the peace. Our elderly 12 lb chiweenie would sometimes slip down the side of the seat near the door, our young 70 lb lab didn’t have enough space, blankets were falling off the seat, the whole mess. With this extender they have easily twice the room, plus we eliminated the cooler because they aren’t mashed together, and there’s protected space on the floor boards for item storage they can’t get in. The side wall keeps my tiny angel from slipping down the side while we’re zipping down the highway, and our biggin has room to stretch out. Winner all the way around and solidly built. I was really skeptical as to whether this seat cover would fit properly in our car and be strong enough for our 80 lb Golden Retriever. We have a Kia Seltos and it fit perfectly! I climbed in to see if it would hold the weight of our dog, I weigh 88 lbs. It stayed in place and did not drop. I think it would hold a much heavier dog with no problem. I would suggest purchasing the padded car bed for it otherwise it will be hard. The padded bed was soft and had enough padding to make our Koda very comfortable. Before I purchased this bed, our dog did not enjoy his car rides, he actually sat up and looked out the window and was a happy pupster. I would highly recommend this for your furry family member!

I purchased this product to switch things up between using the cargo area and the backseat. While my dog prefers the cargo area, the backseat is much safer for him. I was initially hesitant about the sizing, but after reading a few reviews, I decided to go with the Large version. The product arrived promptly and exactly as described. It was easy to set up, feels very sturdy, and is excellent quality. It even came with a seat belt tether, and it didn't take long at all for my dog to get used to the new setup. For context, the Large fits my midsize SUV perfectly, and it gives my boy—who is tall and weighs 85 lbs—plenty of room. I am very pleased with this purchase!

This product is 100% worth the price it is listed for. It requires no putting together at all once out of the box. So far it has provided adequate seat protection, I have not had to clean it yet so I cannot provide feedback for how easy it is to clean. The seat anchors do help avoid it sliding around. The only negative feedback I would give is the base is a little more “bendy” and not as hard as I have previously experienced with other brands so it may not be good for dogs who are on the larger side. My dog also seems to slide around a lot on it due to the material so I will need to put a dog bed or something down to help her out.

This extender seat just makes me happy! Happy not to have to clean all my car after a quick ride. The most important thing is to keep them safe and this piece does that and more. First of all it has the opening so you can safely buckle them and the extender!!! It’s great because they don’t fall of the seat it keeps them safe from falling into the feet area . Now back to keeping your car clean! Cero scratches on your seats leather or fabrics. Even if they have an accident or they played in the mud or water it’s so easy to clean! Now you only have to clean the windows LoL Very easy to install and fold if someone (a human) needs to sit in the back. It has many pockets you can use for doggy or not doggy stuff their toys for example. I’m usually not very good at measuring but with brand and model it was so easy to pick and when it arrived it fit exactly ! Durability is amazing I’ve had mine for almost two years and it’s still in great condition and believe me I have a big boy that loves car rides!

I’ve had a lot of pet seat covers in my time and if this isn’t the best, it’s one of the best. Easy to install, keeps the seat clean and the dogs seem to like it. Good value.

Pros: 3 large boards instead of 6 small boards for stability Has side zippers These pros were what I was looking for since I transport dogs for rescues I get a lot of carsick dogs and the zipper on the side helps contain it.. The cons way outweigh the good for me though. The plastic boards have already started bending from use and heat and I have only had it a month. It has been in the 90s here but gets 110 in the summer so I am disappointed that it won't last. The zipper where you remove and insert the plastic boards is also placed incredibly stupid. Every other hammock I have had has the zipper on the bottom side of the hammock, but this one has the zipper on the top side... Meaning of your dog pukes, pees, literally anything, it gets on the zipper you have to touch to remove the boards to clean it in the washer. The zippers on the sides that "protect" the windows also slide down with any amount of pressure so the big dogs push on it to look out and then it's unzipping, which really sucks cause that's one of the main reasons I purchased this specific brand Also I didn't realize the mesh in the middle front that is meant to let ac through also has zippers on both sides of it (in the middle) and if the dog attempts to climb up front at all those zippers also get pushed down, weakening the entire structure of the hammock. And the last thing I want to complain about is universal for these hammocks and I wish to God they would make one just for dogs and not to accommodate people at all... If I want people in my backseat I'm going to remove the hammock as it's simple to do and covered in fur... But please for the love of God someone make a waterproof hammock that DOESNT HAVE THE SEATBELT GAPS!.... I put my dogs seatbelt leashes on the headrest, the gaps just leave massive weak points and anything wet goes right through... So then what is the point of a waterproof fabric? Which honestly this fabric isn't waterproof anyway. I thought it would be thicker but it's actually very thin. They trick you at first by putting styrofoam in with the plastic boards and it feels really cushiony, but when I had to wash it I had to pull both out and I couldn't get the styrofoam back in after. Overall wish I had tried another brand, this wasn't worth the 60+ I spent on it. Maybe the more expensive options are better but I'm broke so I can't try another one. Just wish the overall strength and longevity was better. The ideas were good, the execution and build are poor. Wish I could return it but it has been washed several times. Purchased May 2026 Update October 2026 The seams and corners have been ripping for a couple washes now. I foster dogs so it does get A LOT of use but I was hoping to not buy another one for at least a year ... There goes that. The corner of the plastic boards are sticking out and I'll have to replace this. For the price point I expected more

Wir hatten vorher eine Box auf der Rückbank. Unser corgi ist leider ein in Fahrtrichtung fahrender Hund und dementsprechend ist die Box für sie zu kurz. Anders stellen können wir sie leider auch nicht. Da wir demnächst mehr als 2 Stunden Auto fahren werden, haben wir uns für die tolle Rücksitzdecke entschieden und müssen bei den ersten Testfahrten sagen; sie ist Mega und entspricht unseren Erwartungen voll und ganz.

Love this for my larger (Boxer mix) dog. I had the 'hammock' style which was fine for my little dog, but my larger dog had a hard time feeling stable turning around on it. This one is perfect, she can turn around no problem and lie on it anywhere, anyway. Was especially great transporting her after her knee surgery. I like the fabric, its a good quality and it fits my SUV perfectly. I also like that you can remove the hard bottom to wash the cover. I bought 2 other ones but this one I like the best!! I would definitely recommend this cover.

The back seat cover is solid and durable.
