First of all , the affordability of this set is amazing, you get.. 1. artist sponge ( it gets the job done ) 2 paint brushes 2 diff sizes 3. water barrel brushes ( honestly they were great especially for starters) 1. Swatch card def decent 100 colors doooooood! Even professional artists can play with this 👌🏽 The only slightly negative thing about it (and this is being unnecessarily nitpicky ) would be the pastels are kiiiiind of a little Chalky BUT…but again at affordability rate there really is no complaint honestly. The whole reason why artist quality is so expensive is because of the quality and the cost of the pigment that goes into it so I am not at all unhappy with this purchase. It’s actually been perfect for my Cherokee heritage tribal paintings👌🏽 And truth be told the better paper that you have you can do anything with these Drying time - they laid down paint dry rather quickly especially if you have a fam on overhead.. even the half pans dry quickly The portability is reasonably comfortable, of course it’s not a pocket pallet but you can definitely carry it in a medium sized purse. Versatility is moderate to high because I’ve used these with pastels and colored pencils and acrylic everything plays nice together The coverage is nicely opaque and you can get actual good coverage with it, with what I said about the pastels in mind. The size of the pans are actually pretty deep they really do keep going cause I’ve used them a lot and it looks like I’ve barely touched them The brushes do work beautifully both the barrel and the wooden handle ones that came with Also my suggestion if those wooden handles either arrive loose or become loose? Just simply get you a pair of flathead pliers and gently squeeze that baby back on it’s honestly no big deal. For the price point that would be just a minor hiccup and reviewers please USE your products so you can give HONEST reviews!! And dear companies… unless you are just starting out… PLEASE FOR THE LOVE THAT ALL THAT IS WHATEVER STOP JUST USING YOUR FREE VINE PRODUCT REVIEWS… That does not count and it does not help me choose Just simply opening the package and taking a photo of it is not helping the company… use the product please!!! I think they would appreciate waiting a little bit to get a genuine honest productive review I’ll throw in some pictures I took photos of the swatch card and close-ups of the different types from iridescent to neon to the regulars Show your up close and the photo of the bubbles is the same color just different values I’ve only used two of the water barrel brushes but it seems to work like a dream and that little piece of plastic that is between your colors that it comes with is actually a pretty remarkable as a filler pallet if you don’t have anything The photo of the pallet with the green paint in it is just to show you what some of the grains look like Happy painting🥰

Great set, this palette has great pigments and a large variety of colors, more than most for the price. I have reorder this twice! I'm not super great at mixing colors so the various shades is great for me. I like the compact for when I travel. The water brushes also are a great addition for those who paint on the go.

I ordered these as a beginner watercolor artist. The colors and quality are smooth and vibrant. I really love ethereal swatch sheet! The pots are a little bit small and it dent come with a surface to mix anything so I would recommend getting one separately. The application is beautiful and ive been able to work on my basic skills.

I’m new to watercolor and wanted a set that gave me a variety of colors and tools without breaking the bank. I love this set. The colors are vibrant and saturating. It is worth taking the time to do the swatch sheet to become familiar with pigment/water ratio and what the true color becomes on paper. It also gives me a good reference for using the right paper. Come prepared with your own water glasses for Brush, cleaning, and paper towel towels. I would take off a half a star in my rating as the black is not as saturating, and the water filled flat brush is threaded backwards. It took me some time to realize this squishing the water tube, but it did not fracture. Overall, I would recommend this to people wanting to get started with water color, painting, and I plan to buy it for some of my friends.
