I’ve been using the Dr. Groot Purifying Clay Shampoo, and I really like it. It leaves my scalp feeling clean and refreshed without making my hair feel too dry. It works especially well for oily roots and helps remove excess oil and buildup. My hair feels lighter, cleaner, and more refreshed after washing. The scent is also pleasant and not too strong.

So far loving this shampoo. The smell is very natural and not over powering. Over all love the product. I’ve been using it for around 4 months now and I can say I do notice that my hair has more volume than prior to using this product.

I have not yet noticed a difference on hair shedding or hair loss or even the amount of hair growth however, I love the way this shampoo lathers, smells and makes my hair feel! I’d buy again. I wish the bottle was bigger and less costly.

Unfortunately, did not work for me. I ended up having an ichy scalp with blisters.

I have long, thick, straight hair that I usually shampoo twice a week. Since my second pregnancy, I have had issues with dry and itchy scalp (about 4 years now). Generally my hair tends toward oily. I was very interested in this shampoo because of the purifying description and the different types of clay. When I dispensed some into my hand while showering, I guess I was expecting something more clay-like and not as liquidy like regular shampoo. However, it definitely lathered up into something much thicker once actually in my hair. Because this shampoo is focused on cleansing the scalp, I used a handheld scrubber with silicone bristles to really work the product into my head; I actually use this scrubber once a week so that isn’t a new element to my routine. The scent was lightly floral and vaguely medicinal, it did make my eyes sting a bit. It rinsed out well and I let my hair air-dry which I always do. I was pleasantly surprised that the next day my hair did feel cleaner and was nice and shiny (in a healthy way) from midway up to the roots! The next day my scalp did feel itchier than normal, which could have been this shampoo or the weather as it changes into winter. All in all, this shampoo continues to intrigue me, for lack of a better word. I’m continuing to use it once a week and it’s a bit like a spa day for my hair.

I ordered my shampoo again—I love how it helped me restore my hair! The three-piece kit runs out fast on me, haha. I absolutely love this brand.
