Because the product I received contains a very high percentage—two-thirds of the package—of coarse, machine-cut stems, boiling them will extract a greater quantity of "wood and fiber" compared to the active ingredients found in the flowers and leaves. This makes the resulting infusion weak, woody, and ultimately useless. I regret every penny spent on this order. Paying $20 for wood, which might not even be wormwood stems, is unacceptable. I strongly advise against anyone buying this product, especially since the packaging features a picture that doesn't reflect the actual contents.
