To my mind, this is a really nice badger brush. It lathers up my shaving cream nicely, which makes the consumable product last longer. It also holds water nicely without a bunch of drip, adding to the lather. The badger fur is just the right stiffness to be soft yet supportive. I haven't noticed any sheds, and I appreciate the value - far less than many others, and I'm not sure paying more would be justifiable.

Delivered as advertised

I bought this to replace an old boar's hair shaving brush whose bristles were curling up at the ends. It works great. Slight animal smell for the first week or so, now it's unnoticeable. My old brush shed a few hairs on each use during all the years that I owned it. This one is not shedding at all (yet). I'm very pleased with this brush and would buy it again if needed. It does a great job of raising my whiskers for a close shave, and it does not irritate my face.
