Adult Acnomel Tinted Cream 1.30 oz (Pack of 3)

Apparently Clearasil itself has stopped manufacturing its "classic" formula ("sulfur, resorcinol, and bentonite"); which in later years they changed the name of to "Clearasil Adult" to differentiate it from their formula change (to benzoyl peroxide). And, therefore, the CVS and Walgreen's stores stopped manufacturing THEIR generic versions of it too.... So this, Adult Acnomel, which also used to be displayed in CVSs and Walgreenses as another competitor (but then the competitors disappeared...), can now only be obtained online. But it's good because it seems to be the exact same formula as original Clearasil was — easy to smoothe on, sulfur smell, skin-tightening feel (but little peeling), the great color/tinting to even-out the skin, and everything. For me, works much better than benzoyl peroxide.

I have had acne for 25 years and this finally cleared it. I tried it all...this along with a mild fungal acne safe soap (i use the purple hylunia) and weekly extractions at home. Also I do 20 percent glycolic acid peels. As for a acnomel, I add water to it to wear it as a foundation with nothing else. Believe me, you dont need lotion once you stop drying out your skin from other products. Less products, less chemical usually equals less acne. Its thick, light in color, powder (i use rice powder as it is also safe for acne prone skin) can be worn over it for coverage. Give it a try, as long as you are also willing to give up most other products that cause your acne. Sulfer is the active ingredient which fights bacterial and fungal acne.

great product used for years

Great product and not easy to find I’ve been using it for decades. So much better than big name brand products and stays on well underneath makeup. Don’t use make up cover up, use this to heal.

I am a 76 yr. old adult. I have used this cream since I was a teen. I love that it dries up oily pores and also add a healing factor to all zits. However, it has been increasingly hard to get these past few years. So I was glad to find that I could order it on line. Thanks. J

This product has my skin tone color which is good to use as spot cream and acne dry up fast

I have used acnomel cream to treat any pimples on my face. It blends in with my skin so is almost invisible to see. It treats as well as covers them until they are gone. I have used it for years. So glad it is available on Amazon.

I used to use this product back in yhe 80's and it really helped. Happy to have found it again on Amazon.

Good general purpose product .

I have used this product in the distant past and my new delivery met old expectations - it works, especially with the tint. My only issue is with how expensive it has become. Overall, pleased.
