Fantastic product
WOW what a difference these panels made in the sound of a large hall banquet! Before everything echoed terribly, but these panels were so easy to install and completely changed the acoustics in the room for less then half the cost of paying to have someone install them.

Does the job
Little rough around the edges on some but work good

Poor quality, overpriced
Arrived with edge dented. Fabric is not glued in straight so the horizontal lines of the fabric are drooping in the center. Fabric ends on anll four corners are glued together and sticking up instead of neatly folded in or folded over each other, then sealed together. extremely overpriced for what it is

Excellent quality, excellent price
I've got a studio full of panels from a big-name manufacturer. They cost a lot of money, and they very effectively deaden the room. I ordered this panel not expecting much. Most of the acoustic panel options on Amazon are junk. However, when I took this panel out of the box, I was actually taken aback by how much it resembles the big-name panels I've got hanging around. It's made of a single piece of rigid fiberglass, covered (using spray adhesive of some sort) with acoustic fabric. I don't know if the fabric is fire rated, as the product description doesn't seem to have any indication of that, but it does seem to be a loose enough weave to be acoustically transparent. It's a single panel, and I don't have an appropriate test apparatus to test a single panel, but to my ear, it seems to be just as effective as the other panels I have, and with the current coupon they've got available, it's half the price. I would certainly recommend this panel over buying the more expensive options from the bigger names. And True North, if you're listening, I'd love to test out more of your stuff! :-)

Very cheap and ugly.
Looks are important. These look like garbage. The corners are glued together and not at all neatly tucked. To be clear, these are foam pieces covered in very cheap fabric. Very overpriced. Very ugly.

Thick and lightweight with good acoustic deadening
This panel is light for its size and thickness which is about 2 inches. The material is reasonably dense but not so much that it makes for a heavy item hanging on the wall. The thickness is such that it will act as a sound deadening and reflection preventing device for moderately deep tones as well as mid and treble sounds. The material that covers the foam barrier is attractive and can come pretty close to matching your wall color depending on its tone. The hanging system involves screwing in cleats to the wall and those cleats have upward pointing protrusions that will grasp onto the back of the panel and are built to where they should hold it fairly well in place, however, you could also add some glue to them if you had more of a permanent mounting need. The type of mounting hardware is not such that it is going to be very conducive to taking them off and on very often as it is penetrates the back of the panel, so repeated remounting is going to make the mount less secure. A very nice solution and relatively inconspicuous.

Effective Acoustic Elegance
In my pursuit of acoustic bliss, I stumbled upon this Acoustic Wall Panel, and I must say, it lives up to its promises. Here's a quick breakdown of my experience: - Nice build quality: The panel's thickness and craftsmanship are commendable. It exudes a sense of durability and attention to detail, which is crucial for a product aiming to enhance sound quality. - Easy installation: Setting it up was a breeze. Even for someone with minimal handyman skills, the process was straightforward. A definite plus for those who want a functional solution without the headache of a complicated installation. - Effective noise reduction: While you might need multiple panels for a pronounced effect, a single panel strategically placed behind my desk worked wonders. It significantly cut down on the reverb from both my speakers and microphone, especially considering my desk faces a hollow wall. - Solid build quality - Effortless installation - Noticeable reduction in reverb

Nice construction and thickness, only 2 colors that I can see
I like the way these are built, apparently out of fiberglass which is dense enough to support itself, but is then covered with a cloth on the front and sides for aesthetics. If you press around the edges you don't feel any supporting frame. I like it because they are pretty light and easy to manipulate and hang on the 4 clips they provide without needing any glue. At least on the walls. Those clips wouldn't work on a ceiling without glue because the tangs are at a 45 degree angle to the surface, so I believe the panel would slide right off. The panels are light enough that the 3M spray glue I use should hold them up without the clips, but I didn't try it. I mounted mine on an inside closet wall that has no interior insulation. It doesn't cover the entire wall, but I believe for the area I need, it will work fine to reduce echos and prevent some sound transmission from the outer room. There is a beverage refrigerator out there that cycles frequently, but it's a low enough murmur that I think this panel is enough to dampen that. Since I have bass traps and other sound panels in place already, it's hard to detect whether the echoing has been reduced any, but every little bit helps. Generally I'm happy with these except the limited color palette (beige and gray). They say a wide array of colors is available but I don't see them. The price is a bit up there compared to other panels I've tried, but none of them have been 2" thick like these. The others I have are around .4" thick. If you need to cover only a small area, where 2 or 3 of these will suffice, these aren't bad choice.
