The cast iron grates feel solid, which is important since we live in a windy area. Weight is on average level. Cleaning is fairly easy and better than average. This is a very nice grill. However, the instructions said approximately 2 hours to assemble. It took us 3 and 1/2. You will also need 2 people to assemble this grill. Follow the instructions. All of the parts are numbered to avoid confusion. We needed a Phillips screwdriver and a needle nose pliers. A magnetic Phillips screwdriver would be helpful if you have one. Other than those tools, be methodical. It pays to take your time, and build this grill properly. The top and burners are pre-assembled, which is great. The finish of this grill is very nice, stainless steel and matte black. Separately, I also ordered a cover from Amazon. The side burner will also be handy, which gives you a total of 7 burners. Should work well when we are hosting a large group.
