I'm afraid this is rather negative as the unit appears to record position quite well but the Bluetooth connectivity is so ineffective as to be unusable. This device does not work with Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. Whilst I occasionally was able to receive a signal on my Windows 7 laptop I never could on the Windows 8.1. I managed to download a couple of tracks but this is inconsistent and totally unreliable. The Canmore software that comes with is equally unreliable and does not allow you to select the com port in use (you need to be conversant with com ports and bluetooth) so unless you are lucky enough to have hit on the right com port by accident you cannot download anything. The advice given in the instructions to set the baud rate at 38400 id also wrong as the only success I got was when it was set at 4800. Don't buy.

Dropped it in my wifes handbag, caught her cheating, now divorced!! I dissapeared just in time... This little divice saved by hundreds of thousdands. Well worth it. Lucky escape.

I have not finished tweaking but so far it does not work well with Windows 10 and is not as accurate as my phone's GPS on the the same app. software comes on a mini disk

Habe mir diesen Datenlogger gekauft um ihn für mein Hobby dem Geocaching zu nutzen. Anfangs hielt sich meine Begeisterung in Grenzen, da mein Smartphone gerade auf Adroid7 (Nougat) upgedated wurde und meine Einstellungen auf dem "neuen" Smartphone nicht 100% den Beschreibungen im Internet passte. Die Bluetooth Verbindung wurde innerhalb von ca. 60s abgebrochen, teilweise konnte keine BT Verbindung aufgebaut werden.... Es ware eine Katastrophe. Also das alte 4.1 Smartphone herausgeholt und siehe da alles lief wie erwartet. Danach habe ich es immer wieder probiert und diverse Einstellung am Android 7 durchgeführt bis es wie jetzt sehr gut und Stabil lief. Was ist zu beachten: Erstmal benötigt man einige Tool Apps die erstmal eine Verbindung zum Smartphone schaffen und die Nutzung der GPS Daten erlauben. Folgende Tools werden empfohlen: - BluetoothGPS oder Bluetooth GPS Provider - GPS Status um zu Überprüfen - c:geo für Geocaching Nun zur Smartphone Einstellung: Es muß die Entwickleroption freigeschalten werden. -> Dazu in Einstellungen gehen und das Menü "Über" Android tippen. Ganz Runterscrollen und solange auf "Softwareinformationen" tippen bis die Meldung erscheint " Entwicklermodus wurde freigeschalten". Jetzt in Einstellungen auf den Menüpunkt "Entwickleroptionen" tippen. Dort den Punkt "App für simulierte Standorte auswählen" Dort die entsprechende App auswählen. z.B. "BluetoothGPS" Jetzt einfach mal diesen GPS Receiver per Bluetooth mit dem Smartphone verbinden. Bitte gleich unter freien Himmel ausprobieren, so das der Empfänger auch GPS Daten empfängt. Wenn man jetzt mit dem "GPS Status" App am Smartphone die Positionierung angezeigt wird, ist man auf der grünen Seite. Bitte beachten die "Standort" Einstellung darf/muß am Smartphone ausgeschalten sein. Jetzt nur noch unter der "c:geo" App in die Einstellungen gehen und unter "System" bei Positionierung das Häkchen bei "Google Play-Dienst nutzen" entfernen. Jetzt sollte der ext. GPS Empfänger unter c:geo nutzbar sein und stabil laufen. Bei der App "Bluetooth GPS" sind evtl. noch Einstellungen durchzuführen: - Enable Mock GPS Provider - Use Insecure Connection - Other Workaround - Use Fuse Provider ??? Ich hoffe mit dieser Beschreibung einigen "unbedarften" Smartphone Nutzern zu helfen, um diese doch nicht ganz unkomplizierten Einstellungen eine Ext. GPS Mouse nutzbar zu machen. Toller Nebeneffekt: Man kann nach der Caching Tour die USB Verbindung vom Empfänger nutzen um die genauen Verlauf der Tour abzurufen und Festzustellen wie viele Kilometer zurückgelegt wurden.

ottimo tracciatore GPS facile da usare, leggere bene le istruzioni prima di usarlo, molto preciso nelle tracce, veloce intuizione per il dialogo col PC...

L'ho provato su 2 diversi tablet(Xiaomi e samsung) con 2 diversi software (android 9 e android 11) attraverso 3 applicazioni provider diverse...non funziona in nessun modo ...Restituito
