Pretty good headphones. I returned them in the end because too neutral for me. If that’s what you’re going for though these are perfection.

I accidentally killed one side of my first pair by putting them on too soon after getting out of the shower. I suppose I had some water still in my ear. Don’t do that.But other than that I love these for gaming. Long cord. I do get my ear buds tangled up pretty good sometimes but that’s my own fault for just throwing them over my boom mic when I get off.Great sound quality on Escape from Tarkov, and so much lighter than a headset, with no messed up or compressed hair down the center of my head (and I have short hair).

These are good! While I don’t have extensive experience with IEMs, I’ve spent many years as a recording musician and know what a well-balanced monitor should sound like — and the Truthear Hexa delivers.The Hexa has a very musical and cohesive tuning with a pleasing blend of lows, mids, and highs. The bass is controlled and present, never bloated or overwhelming. There's a tasteful sub-bass lift that adds depth without muddying the mix.What really stands out to me is the midrange. Compared to my Moondrop CHU II, which has more of a scooped character, the Hexa offers more natural, full-sounding mids that bring out the richness in rock and acoustic tracks beautifully.The treble is detailed and clear — acoustic guitars, for instance, sound stunning. That said, on certain tracks, especially those with bright hi-hats, the highs can come across a touch hot, though never harsh.If you're after a fun, bass-heavy IEM for genres like reggae or funk, the Hexa might not fully deliver out of the box. That said, a slight EQ bump — I add just +1dB at 60Hz — brings out enough low-end punch to make them work well. Their more neutral, reference-style tuning prioritizes accuracy over impact. But for listeners who value balance and detail, especially in vocal-driven rock or acoustic music, the Hexa truly shines. They can rock!The Hexa fits my ear well, they are light weight and very comfortable and they are well made.I hope this helps.

These are a very good pair of IEMs to get if you're looking for jack of all trades type of IEM. I personally call these the HD 650 of IEMs.

After doing some research I was compelled to not only try wired earbuds for the first time in over 10 years, but also find out how far IEM quality has come in the affordable market. I daily drive HiFiMan sundara headphones at my pc. When plugging these into the same DAC (and turning the volume way lower of course), they sound almost identical to the Sundaras, which makes sense because both pairs are known to have strong treble.Which leads me to my next point, as a heads up, these do sound bland by default, monitors are made to sound flat by default. I have a good bass knob on my Fosi K5 that really makes the treble-dominated sound pop.For my phone (the reason I bought these) I got a dongle DAC to plug these in.. this might serve as a heads up for some, if you're looking to get hi-res out of Android, you technically won't with Apple music even with the hi res downloads. I guess Tidal or local playback are the best options for that based on my own research. Definitely an oversight on my end. Not a deal breaker by any means, they are my best sounding portable option at the moment.

Despite this, the bass response is overall satisfying, with good texture and speed.Mids:The midrange of the Hexa is neutral with a slight darkness due to a dip in the lower treble. Instruments are portrayed with forwardness and precision, offering good layering and separation. Both male and female vocals are well-represented, with clarity and depth but not intimately portrayed. The midrange remains clean and transparent, without any unwanted coloration or bleed.Treble:The treble here is detailed and airy, offering an open presentation without harshness or sibilance. While not overly emphasized, it extends well and provides ample detail, contributing to an engaging listening experience. The treble tuning is safe, ensuring comfortable listening over extended periods.Soundstage:The soundstage of the Truthear Hexa is well-rounded but leans towards intimacy rather than expansiveness. Despite this, imaging remains precise, allowing for accurate placement of instruments within the soundstage. While not the widest, the soundstage offers sufficient depth and separation for an immersive listening experience.Conclusion:In conclusion, the Truthear Hexa IEMs combine impressive design with commendable sonic performance. My man loves these and as he should cuz these aren’t cheap if your man is a gamer and he doesn’t want headset hair you can get him these he absolutely likes them and you can hear the audio well and they don’t pop out of his ears
