Well worth the money.
I am no expert and I'm still learning how to use fully manual lenses but I have found this lens one of the easier ones to use and I've had good results taking portraits using it, I would advise people to use a good tripod and at least a two second delay on the camera to avoid any shake, it's definitely worth the money and I'm looking forward to getting out and about with it now spring has arrived.

It offer more than the price cost.
Focus wheel Functionality is smooth. At aperture 1.8 sharpness is as good as the price can be 6/10. Great!

It's Tries to be a Lens.
It is what it us. A cheap f1.8 85mm lens. Looking fir a goid portrait lens? This aint it. Fully open at f1.8 fringing and chromatic aberration are very evident and the image is very soft. Stop it down to around f8 and it becomes semi usable. You have the term, junk telescope, this is the lens equivalent. About its only redeeming feature is it is metal and it has a lens hood.

Excellent manual lens
This lens cost me £66 what's not to like. Great lens great value. It's totally manual so you have to know how to use it.

Good strong build
The lens is a cheap lens but it feels like an expensive one how ever the optics on this is not really good its do same quality as my 45 years old lens

Overall good lens, some drawbacks
The lens is nice if you are on a budget. It won't produce the same results as one you would get from Canon themselves but for the price, it does the job.

Great Lens!
This is a great portrait lens. It IS manual focus - so great for beginners to learn and great little lens for pro’s to use. It’s just a great lens - works as described. Blurs the background. Don’t leave a bad review cause you wanted it to auto focus - it won’t do that. It’s manual and works great!

EF Objektiv für Canon.
Bin Begeistert. Fotos machen wie vor 50 Jahren. Es macht noch Spaß durch den Sucher zu gucken. Ist nicht zu vergleichen mit meinem 400 Tele. Aber für den relativen Nahbereich 85 mm ist schon ein echter Klopper. Die Schärfe nachzuführen ging noch ein bisschen schwer bei Blende 1.8. Aber nach 2Std Fotos machen hat es sich eingearbeitet .Das Fußballspiel war auch zu Ende Von 286 Fotos waren nur 6 etwas unscharf. Bin mit zufrieden mit dem Objektiv und nur über den Sucher eingestellt. Guter Preis.

Baja Calidad de Enfoque
Lo obtuve por 110 euros aproximadamente con un buen descuento, lo que me hacía pensar que fuera un objetivo de mayor calidad, no es el caso. Me lo quedo para practicar pero lo he visto en reviews en USA por 85 $. No estoy contento con amazon con esta compra.
