Philips Norelco Shaver 2600 Series, Wet and Dry Electric Shaver, Pop-up Trimmer, P-Cap, Travel Pouch, Dark Forest Green, Model X3052/91

Have had this for years and STILL works great! I use this for my legs and I couldn't be happier with this product!! One of the best purchases I've made!! It won't get your legs razor smooth, but it does get rid of all visible hair it's cheaper than buying razors and shaving cream over and over I have not had one issue with it in all the years I've had it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND SAVES TIME AND MONEY!!

The razor arrived hermetically sealed in plastic packaging that was very hard to get open but once I got it open I looked at the razor, it came with a little bag to put it in and a charging cable. The bag it comes with is very flimsy it is not big enough to hold the charging cable just the razor. I plugged it in and let it charge up according to directions for about 8 hours or so and when the light went off I went ahead and used it, but not on my face on my head. The first thing I noticed was that it's very low RPM and the razor heads are very flexible as opposed to the older style Norelco razors, even though they flex they don't flex good enough to shave your head with comfortably, this razor does. When I finished shaving my head I opened up the cutting head and cleaned it up, this is accomplished by pressing a button located under the cutters and the cutting head is spring loaded, it can also be removed from the body by pulling up gently at the hinge. The cutter heads can be removed easily by removing the guard and carefully pop out the cutters for cleaning, or if you have an air compressor you can just blow it out. I let the hair on my head grow for 3 days and then shaved my head and this razor did an awesome job, I no longer have to use a bladed razor 🪒 again and that makes me happy and it only takes a few minutes. The charger cord is long but a single wire, not coiled like my 30 year old Norelco and that makes storage a problem. If you wrap it up as it came in the package it is hard to straighten out, so I have to use a twist tie to stow it in the drawer. I get 2 shaves from one charge and it charges fast. All in all it is a nice razor and easy to use, not sure it will last 30 years.

Some have complained these shavers are weak, but they're probably used to those foil lawnmowers - they make a lot more noise and can vibrate like an old truck, but they don't shave any closer or faster. The blades on this one seem to spin slower than earlier models, but I still get a great shave just running it over my face gently and slowly. And the trimmer's good for sideburns and light edge work. Don't let the quiet fool you. The spindles that turn the blades have a loose connection, so don't clean aggressively (as you can with foil mowers). Just use a light brush, and use it lightly. UPDATE: After several weeks I find myself impatient with the speed, and the need to recharge twice a week. But if you take the time, it does shave closely. Update: after a few months, it still shaves close, but it does require patience. The big foil lawnmowers are faster. Update 2: gave up on it. Charge lasts 2 days, and always takes 10 minutes to shave. Replaced it with a foil-head lawnmower that does the job quick.

Bought this 2600 model after ancient HQ8 (now SH50) "lift and cut" razor battery stopped charging. Was concerned about new "comfort cut" SH30 blades but didn't want the higher-end model "features" like sharp edges that don't fit under your nose, charging stands that take up your vanity space, and detachable rather than built-in trimmers. Picked the 2600 as the battery specs were better. After using for 6 months I can report that the cheaper SH30 blades work fine, but also that the SH50 blades from my old razor fit so I can upgrade if I want to. Charges in 30 minutes and runs for a week. If I don't notice the blinking red light after shaving one day and it runs out the next it only takes a couple of minutes of charge time to finish the job (but it will not run while plugged into the charger). The USB charging cable is great for travel. The lid stays on tightly enough that I haven't used the travel case. If buying today would also consider the 3600 but not sure the 5D pivot action would be useful.

Well, it took me a while to figure it out, but the way to get a close shave is to 'scrub' your face with the rotary heads If you just glide it against your face, it leaves your face like sandpaper. The upside is that pressing the shaver firmly does not tear your face up. This is the cheapest Norelco, so unsurprisingly it's plastic and kind of toy like. I was going to send it back, but now that I know how to get a decent shave, I'll keep it.

Good shaver. I'm not sure how my ex managed to lose this after a couple weeks, but it worked perfectly until then.

Works very well with a reasonably long battery run time but felt it should have come with the USB charging cord adapter included. Uses an easy to purchase / replace shaver heads, would recommend to any daily shavers!

Best shaver I have owned in 50+ years! Shaves so much better than any competitor!
