OCMBE Mosquite Blender Expressio w/BJF Buffer and Expression Pedal

I have one without the expression input and it works exactly as intended. I used it to make a WMD Geiger Counter usable on bass guitar. Most of the tones on that pedal suck out the low end. Using the blend knob and the phase switch I was able to cook up some nasty tones without sacrificing bass.

GearTree initially sent the wrong item, but it was quickly replaced.I had high hopes for this pedal to add minimal effects with blend transitions to my mostly clean, acoustic guitar tone.The documentation is vague and I couldn't find any online support. The "polarity" switch seems to have a large stretch in the middle where phase cancellation occurs in "normal" mode, regardless of what pedals are or aren't attached to the loop. The "reverse" mode doesn't seem to have this effect and offers smoother effect transition without obvious phase cancellation.But I can't do any transitions with the blended sound I creat because I have yet to get the expression pedal connection to work. I've tried two pedals so for, Behringer and Moog. Neither worked. Signal dies completely when an expression pedal is plugged in. I don't know whether to try another expression pedal or give up and look for another solution to my needs. I'm incredibly frustrated and disappointed.Updating to 4 stars because it's a vital part of my signal chain to dial in just the right amount of certain effects. I just wish it had better documentation and could get an expression pedal working. Glad it has a big knob I can turn by toe!

Worked OK when using the knob, but the transition between the two signals wasn't distributed well when using a connected expression pedal. It didn't work with one of the 3 expression pedals I tried. I replaced the knob with a larger one suitable for use with your foot; the original isn't designed for that. I was using it to blend an overdrive pedal into my clean signal, and in the end didn't really like the way it worked. I've rewired my pedal board eliminating the Blender and a Boss noise gate and am much happier with the sound and function.
