what are the ingredients/chemicals in them? i need them for a science experiment and i need to know all of the ingredients/chemicals in them.

Nowhere on the package are the exact ingredients listed. All it says is “ingredients are non-toxic and non-flammable” Manufactured forEver Ready First Aid, Brooklyn, NY 11236. That’s it!

Where is the expiration date listed on the package?

Hi - not sure where the expiration date is located. Not even sure if there is such a thing, seeing as how this is not a food or consumable product. The two components that produce the glow are held within separate capsules in the glow stick. That is why you have to “crack” the inner capsule by bending the glow stick till it breaks, then shake it. Once initiated, the glow lasts for at least 12 hours. Hope this helps…

What is the shelf life on these?

Not sure what they are rated for, but I have had some in my truck for about ten years and when I needed them, they worked just fine. Hope this helps...

Are these waterproof?

I am not sure how to answer this question. All of the llume lights I am aware of, are encased in a plastic tube. Therefore, by default they are insulated from exposure to air/water. If the question really is can they be used under water? I am not sure to what distance they can be seen under water. I am also unsure if they in fact, float. But there is no reason I can see they should/could not be used in a wet environment.
