Not precise but good enough.
The compass's needle keeps deflecting 10 degrees when I keep it in the palm of my hand. The reason could be that it's sensitive to hand movements. But it reaches stability when it's placed on a still surface. Basically, not good if you want precision but it's very good for performing science experiment or in case of emergency.
