I will update review after putting some miles on them, but, the installation was exact! These tires are engineered to a much more precise installation dimension than the original tires that came with the e bike. I worked at a bike shop as an apprentice, so my main duty was changing tires. On every cheap bike the flat tires were loose and came off the wheel literally with one hand, as did my e-bike originals. When I needed to change tires on the higher end big brand bikes, the tires, also higher end brand, were a tight fit, where a tire lever would usually be needed to install and remove. These tires are even better because you can manipulate the carcass just enough to get them on without the levers but I feel confident they are the exact fitment. The rubber compound on the test ride was excellent, the feel was solid, a couple s turns to wear off the manufacturer surface and it was much more inspiring as a first ride should be. I installed these tires with the Tannus Inserts and the reduced size tubes, everything was exact, literally like the engineers really did their analysis and cross referenced with actual bike mechanics to figure out what space could be sacrificed by the tube to allow the Tannus density foam insert to seat exactly right. I really appreciate having this level of satisfaction from a purchase that I have no experience with. I have never owned a 20” bike before, and never owned inserts before, but having two companies produce precise products that compliment one another so well is a excellent experience. I will ride the bike now and report any updates if needed. Pros: Quieter than orig Smoother than orig Tighter install than orig Compatible with Tannus inserts Compatible with Tannus 3” HD tubes Feels bullet proof, i.e. motorcycle-ish Nice looking sidewall graphics Easy to install, tight, precise fitment Major improvement of the most important component of bike. Cons: Extra cost, $260 for these tires combined with and Tannus inserts and HD tubes, this extra cost is actually 25% of the cost of the bike. The original tires are not garbage but they are never going to be used by myself, I can try to sell them, but I feel they may be too unusual to find an interested buyer.

Bought these to replace my heavily worn out tires on my 2021 model year Rad Rover 6 plus e-bike which had around 4000 miles on it with half of that being single-track hilly forest trails with lots of rocks, roots and fallen branches. So far I've done around 100 miles on these Ultraverse tires and they do not disappoint. At present no issues and no signs of premature tire wear. They are more substantial than the Rad Power OEM tire and I am expecting better than 4000 miles out of them. I can notice a very slight reduction in top-end speed and acceleration since these are heavier but the difference is barely noticeable and perhaps even imagined. One pro that is also a con is these tires grip better on rough terrain, in particular smoot roots on hill climbs that are the bane of keeping traction. The tread pattern and voids do a much better job than the little cleats on my OEM tire at biting around these roots and into the ground. This same advantage also causes a lot more leaf litter, twigs and even small to medium branches to get picked up and thrown into my calves and ankles. Mostly feels like bugs landing on my legs with the odd branch impaling me :). But I don't consider this any fault of the product, this is the (unexpected to me at time of purchase) consequence of having more aggressive grip. One unex

These ULTRAVERSE 20x4 fat tires are decent overall, but they’re not quite as “premium” as the marketing makes them sound. They do the job for an e-bike setup and seem built more for durability and utility than performance or comfort. Installation was probably the most frustrating part. These tires are stiff, and getting them seated properly on the rim takes effort, especially if you’re doing it without professional tools. Once mounted though, they feel solid and secure. On the road, grip is good on pavement and light off-road terrain like dirt or gravel. They feel stable, but they’re also a bit heavy, which is noticeable when accelerating or climbing hills. That’s pretty typical for 20x4 fat tires, but still worth mentioning. Ride comfort is okay — they absorb bumps fairly well, but you can feel the weight and rolling resistance compared to thinner tires. Noise on pavement is also slightly higher than expected. So far, durability seems solid with no obvious wear or weak points, but I haven’t had them long enough to fully judge long-term lifespan. Overall, these are a practical budget-friendly fat tire option for e-bikes. They’re reliable and tough, but not especially refined. Good choice if you care more about function and puncture resistance than performance feel or efficiency.

Nice aftermarket tires for ebikes! Sturdy construction motorcycle quality tires pretty much puncture resistant. Some people may be intimidated by the install but its nit an issue though they include rim protectors and steel tire levers which in my case were not needed. To seat the tires properly i inflated to appx 5 psi and rolled the bike to evenly seat the bead then completed inflation to 30 psi to really seat it down. No issues and the large blocks give you a great ride and they work well on sand and snow. Just air down for loose terrain a bit to maybe 15-20 psi. Get these before the prices go up!

Wonderful and very durable tires. I am in the process of upgrading my old fat tires. I will add a follow up review as well Thankfully it wasn't too difficult to install, but it definitely is more difficult to install than thin walled fat tires. I was afraid of getting pinch flats, but I really got lucky. It comes with tools to install too, which is very thoughtful of Ultraverse. Some Tips to install: 1. Warm the Tire in the sun to make it more flexible before you install. 2. Use soapy water during installation, and the tire will slip easily. Thank you.

Excellent tire for road and trail. This is my 3rd set of tires on my e-bike and I will re-purchase when needed. This is a real tire. It comes in a tire shaped box, not folded because it actually has a rim bead. It fits on rim better and hooks into the rim for a firm fit. Tire pressure rating 5 to 30 psi. I have mine at 20 PSI and it rolls so smoothly. It grips the ground on straights and turns. It feels very stable. Huge improvement to riding. And very quiet. Which is not what you get from the factory knobbies
