I'm really pleased with this scale! It's compact and perfect for small volume weighing with precision to 3 decimal places. It comes with 2 clear, hard plastic trays that work perfectly as protective covers for the entire scale and for the weighing plate (obviously cannot use the scale with either in place) or as weighing trays. I'm using the scale to measure cat food in ounces, but it also can provide weights in grams, carats, pennyweight (dwt), troy ounces (ozt), grains and can be set for counting pieces. I appreciate that it has a calibration function that the on/off, unit, tare and piece count functions each have a separate button. The blue LED display is easy to read and the scale returns a reading instantly. The instructions are clear, easy to understand and seem to be written by a native English speaker. There's a two-year warranty against defects, but I chose not to return the warranty card thinking if something were to go wrong I'd just opt for quickly replacing the scale myself since it's a great value.

Excellent scale. The set up was very easy and involved just putting in the battery and the tray. We used it to weigh our household 22K gold jewelry of all sizes, shapes, and weight which consisted of coins, chains, necklaces, bangles, bracelets, earrings, and finger/toe rings totaling ~1200 grams, for documentation purposes. The weighing process was smooth since the trays were progressively large, relatively. The balance was so accurate that, even a slight draft of air would change the reading. The readout was large and had options for multiple units. It could be used for any purpose that need ultra precise reading, including as a kitchen scale. Highly pleased with our purchase and this should have cost more (ethically speaking) but glad that it was so economically priced.

Just received this yesterday, it red, has a nice size weighting area and comes with 2 sizes of clear plastic trays. Be sure not to mistake for packaging material!! I purchased weights (7 piece for $6) separately so I could check for accuracy. The 50g weight was dead on, 100 g a little off, that’s to be expected with any scale. Can’t wait to make my own vitamin capsules.

It works well and it's accurate it's worth the price

Love this scale. Got it specifically for weighing food for my puppy. It is small, fits nicely on a counter. Well made and very easy to use. Price is also excellent. Highly recommend.

I am impressed with the scales. Resolution is awesome. It is stable, doesn't change the last figure erratically and is compact. I wish I had calibration kit to complete the test.

It’s accurate to two decimal places in most units of measure. It does come with clear tray that can be used as a cover or for weighing materials, it’s a bit large for my friends usage and she opts for other kitchen tools more often than not. Great for the hobbyist or aspiring chef in your house. I’m so impressed with this little gem that I am going to order one for myself! My coin collecting friend ordered one for his hobby, too. Trust me, it’s worth every penny.
