They're not very good unless you want that sort of thing
Maybe I just have never had freeze dried food before but this is not very appealing to me. We work on the road alot so eating fresh food is sometimes hard, thought it would be a good alternative to fresh fruit... I can't get over the texture. The crunchy is good but then it dissolves into a stringy stale weird texture. Taste is okay, nothing like a ripe fresh pear but okay. Probably is exactly what it's supposed to be, just not for me at all.

Consistently smells like rot/fermented fruit and tastes gross
would have originally called this product 5 stars from how refreshing and tasty they are, so much so that I suscribed to these for a year+. however the last couple of shipments the quality has nose dived - the instant you open a package your nose is assailed with the scent of rot/fermenting fruit. the pears are spongey like they didn't dehydrate them enough. and they taste just like they look. I thought at first it might have been a dud but consistently every time I've bought them now hoping for an improvement in quality, I once again get the rotten smelling pears. save your money and buy something else. this has become a horrible product.
