This is a mousepad sized desk extender which is sturdily constructed. Personally I have used the clamps to attach it to the arm rest of my office chair, but the size of the clamps is highly adjustable, they could likely clamp far thicker edges like tabletops etc. A nice touch, since it most likely WILL be used as a mousepad, is the patterned surface, so the mouse will work without the usual problems from a painted or melamine surface. Of course, you could just use it to hold your tea. The clips underneath easily allow the pad to fold down to be got out of the way when necessary. I did expect it to be shoddy at this price point, but it's actually really good quality, so I'm surprised but happy.

Solid, sturdy, well made. Ideal in some vehicles as work platform for laptop, but small when attached to an office desk.

I have a tiny desk so using a mouse when working wasn't an option until I got this. It has saved my wrist! Highly recommend. It's sturdy if you screw it tight. I can't see any issues with it breaking. I'm glad it's collapsible, it saves on space. Was extremely easy to set up and hasn't caused me any issues when using.

Delivered by Amazon in perfect condition and ahead of schedule. Great quality extension to table/chair arm. I chose the black option which has a nice looking carbon fibre effect pattern. It is heavy and solidly built. I have no concerns over reliability and durability. It is extremely solid when fitted (even though currently using it for cups of tea!) It's surface is not suitable for an optical mouse (as I think it is too shiny for the mouse to be read), but than can easily be fixed with a mousemat. Looks great, really nice that it folds now with a click of the two switches on the underside (again very solid) If you are looking for a table extension look no further. highly recommended.

Great product. Bought to rest my arm on when using my mouse for extended periods. My desk is not very wide. This save putting undue tension in my arm.

I was looking for table extensions because I have very little table space and I need room to rest my elbows when in front of the computer for many hours, unfortunately I do not have room in the house for a bigger table. I was browsing these table extensions and found them all to be a little bit pricey for what they are, (I mean... add a little more money and you can buy another table instead...) but whatever, I needed it in my particular case. I must say, despite my expectations, I find it to be extremely well built and solid. I have heavy arms and despite this it does not feel flimsy or anything. I would highly recommend to anyone who has the same needs for table space, it is definitely great quality and easy to build
