I bought this to take my 87yo mother on a trip to Alaska. Extremely portable, lightweight, collapses fairly small. It doesn’t really lock in the closed position so I used a bungee cord wrapped around it to keep it shut. Instructions provided by the company were virtually useless, but we figured things out. We used the arms of the wheel chair to hang bags from, so I could push my mom with one hand , hang the carry-ons from the arms, and use my other hand for the luggage. (It was slow going but I managed). We checked the wheelchair at the gate of our flight. Due to the nature of Alaska travel, I did have to take this over some gravel pathways, which it’s really not designed for at all, and that was a struggle, but that’s on me, not the product itself. Overall it handled some tough situations. For the price and the portability this is a very useful wheelchair! I would recommend it.

First, the positives. It’s indeed super light compared to other wheel chairs. My wife has to transport her elderly mom often and the wheel chair we were previously using was difficult for her to lift and store in her car. This is much easier to handle. Seems to be well made material wise. Now, some minor complaints. Getting the wheels to lock in place requires a fair amount of grip strength squeezing the handle latch. Also, the foot rest has to be folded out before collapsing. If you don’t, it gets caught behind the retractable handle and is impossible to open. Also, there’s a crossbar in the back that’s pretty hard if you lean back. Her mom slumps forward, so I don’t think this will be an issue. And the instructions are not great.

This is Absolutely a great chair for my husbands needs , he has stage 4 lung cancer and trips we’re getting harder to take because he has to be in oxygen. i love that it folds &unfolds with no effort , the extra bag for his portable oxygen machine , extra seat cushion or can be used for extra back support , he said it sits very comfortably and the feet are positioned well fit him , the large storage bag with nice handles make for very easy transfer. We have only been on flat surfaces so if we hit rocks or sand and I find difficultly I will update my personal review but for the overall of everything we are 100% pleased for our needs with the chair

The wheel chair is great. The brake lock doesn’t work at first when I tried to lock it per instruction. After 15 minutes of trying to make it work (really didn’t want to return the big box to UPS), finally I just knee down in the back, twist just the bottom bar with both hand really hard and it worked but it is not nature. I will live with it because the wheel chair is exactly what I need: compact, good looking, functional.

The Weyral lightweight transit chair weighs just 19 pounds and is intuitive to set up. Seat is comfortable for short-term sitting, compared to a different chair we tried. The seat has a removable pad that is washable. Lap-belt provided. Transit chairs are for INDOOR use, as the small wheels and narrow wheel base are a tipping hazard OUTSIDE with uneven surfaces. A storage bag was provided. Chair seat folds up easily and top of chair also folds down. Brakes hold chair pretty well when locked. Maneuvers well on smooth floor. Armrest folds up if needed. Bought to replace a small Drive transit chair for petite person under 130 pounds. I like the fold-up armrests and easy turning of the Weyral Super Lightweight Transit Chair for indoors, but Don’t recommend for outdoors due to risk of catching small wheels in crevices.

My wife took this wheelchair to Japan. It fell apart from opening and closing halfway through the trip. Multiple nuts fell off, one by one. Use with caution.

We purchased this travel chair in 2024 and have used it regularly ever since. It is very versatile and has great ease of movement. My husband is mobility impaired and has great difficulty some days getting around the house from room to room. I use this chair to help move him from living room to the dining table or to the bedroom. On days he can’t walk to the bathroom or get from the car to the kitchen door, we use the chair. It moves easily through doorways, rolls smoothly, locks in place when he is getting in it and the arm rests can be moved to make transferring to the chair easier. The chair folds up and is easy to store in our living room when not in use. Great value for the money in light of all times and ways we use the chair.

Love everything about this transport chair for my daughter, The size, how easy it is to move, folding foot rest, the firm seat. Will make our lives so much easier taking her out for little shopping trips.

The carry bag is much too large but otherwise it works well, fits nicely in the car and is easy to maneuver.
