It's rare to get a product that exceeds expectations but the Ergotron LX does it easily. A bit pricey but you get your money's worth. Quality build with sturdy well machined parts and a breeze to put together. Pros: Arrived professionally packaged Easy assembly and mounting to desktop Sturdy mounts and arms Screws,wrenches,screwdrivers and misc well packaged The arms provide a nice way to hide cables Assembled and in use in 1/2 hour No adjustments were necessary in my case (24" monitor) Cons: No instruction manual. Easily found on Ergotron's website for download (7 pages). Good to have if you need to adjust the up/down tension which wasn't needed in my case. I highly recommend the extra arm extension. The range of left and right folding motion doubles not to mention the extra extension distance.

This is expensive but very good quality, well designed, packaged, clear instructions, worth the extra pennies. It comes complete with desk clamp and extended arm. It arrived a day early, so two day rather than three advised by Amazon which was great. Just as a note it’d Vesa compatible 75mm and 100mm, don’t think that’s in the description.

I looked about for a monitor stand or arm for a long time, Despite the price of this product I bit the bullet and invested in it, it’s been the best addition to my set up I’ve ever made. Mounting my 24” monitor beside my other one it makes the desk look a whole lot cleaner and professional. A very well made solid product the weight took me by surprise the parts are made of solid steel with no plastic appart from a couple of underside covers. Easy to assemble and mount your monitor too, Adjustment can be slightly tricky but once you’ve figured it out you’ll be in love with this. Would highly recommend and if I ever get a third monitor will be buying again!

It Holds Up The Monitor Well and adjusts semi well but the instructions weren’t very helpful so we just spent half the time trying to calibrate it to hold the monitor without sagging. It is very sturdy when finally calibrated though. The cable management system could be better though as the top one requires zip ties to actually keep it from sagging so eventually i just gave up trying to cable manage it.

I angst for days deciding what type of desk mount to purchase for my new PC - I was looking for smart, slick but most of all, maneuverability in a desk mount - I got all of that with this product. It arrived two days after placing my order and I was delighted with the product quality and the 'look'. Clear clean lines, easy to mount on the desk. Perhaps my only moan is that it would have been good to feed the cables inside the mount instead of them being clipped on the underside. Value for money, a solid product and does the job and looks good - don't look anywhere else - this is your answer!

I accept many people would baulk at the idea of paying out a large additional cost to mount a Computer Monitor. The positive view is it gives you the ultimate viewing angle for your screen. No more craning your neck to see the screen; you can move it to any comfortable position, even have a TV watching position as well as the more formal computer desk position, obviously it depends on the location; etc. The technicalities of the arm, it is well made, finished in polished aluminium (so looks good!) including all the fixing mounts, whether you screw it to the wall or just use the bracket to mount it to a desk. I use a 24" Acer LED/LCD Monitor and it works really well. where as a monitor placed on its inclusive foot only offers a 90 degree view, but this is very inflexible as you have to position yourself to the monitor. Using an arm you chose how and where you sit,whilst moving the monitor to where you can comfortably view it. Finally I could see because of the manufacturing quality that it should last a lifetime, so over the life of a few monitors the relative cost comes down to become a good investment.

I am more than satisfied with this purchase. I was looking for quality monitor arm to hold my 27" monitor on a windowsill and make more free space on the desk. I knew I'll want move the monitor nearer or further from my face depending what kind of work I'm doing on my desk (working with computer, soldering, building, etc.) and that was one of mine requirements. Also I wanted the arm would save some space behind it because I keep various things on windowsill - soldering station, electronic components, 3d printer filament and a plant :-). This arm fulfills all my requirements. But I was even more surprised how durable and flexible it is. It is so easy move monitor to the left or right side of my desk. Or raise up and put laptop under it. This came very comfortable because I do not need pack my daughter's puzzle from my desk but I can only move monitor to one side and work. Also my wife likes keeping monitor on the left side of laptop meanwhile I keep it on the right. With this Ergotron arm it is just a question of seconds to move monitor to any side. And what is most important - it hods the screen well. Great item! It was worth ship it from UK to Lithuania!

Sprawny, porządnie wykonany uchwyt, po wielu miesiącach użytkowania działa nadal równie skutecznie z monitorem 38 cali. Jedyna wada - jeżeli do monitora idzie dużo grubych przewodów (2x HDM, DP, USB do huba, zasilanie) to nie mieszczą się do kanału w ramieniu uchwytu (trzeba je podpiąć na paskach z rzepami) albo mieszczą się, ale blokują się w tym kanale przy monitora w znacząco rożne pozycje (np. praca raz z jednej strony biurka, raz z drugiej - bez przenoszenia uchwytu względem blatu))

Vous le savez déjà bien sur, mais ceci est un pied méchanique pour supporter votre écran. Les fixations se font sur votre bureau. Ne vous inquiètez pas, vous pouvez soit percer a travers le bois du bureau pour fixer le bras, ou si vous souhaitez préserver votre bureau, vous pouvez juste utiliser les pinces fournises. J'ai utilisé les pinces. Et je dois dire que l'écran est incroyablement stable. A tel point, que si je laisse un gros livre tomber sur mon bureau, l'écran sur le pied Ergotron remue moins que mon autre écran sur son pied fixe d'origine. Ce pied libère la place utilisée par le pied sur votre bureau. J'ai maintenant 30 cm de + en libre sur le fond de mon bureau. Les mouvements du bras sont très agréables. Sans avoir resserer les vis du bras, la résistance au mouvement est parfaite. Juste assez pour ne pas que le poid de mon écran 24" ne le fasse redescendre petit a petit (une fois en place, le bras maintient l'écran parfaitement placé, même si on y touche pas pendant des semaines), et juste assez pour qu'on sente la petite résistance lorsque l'on bouge l'écran, sans que on doive forcer pour le déplacer. C'est simplement parfait. Le bras vient également avec un système pour que les câbles de l'écran soient caché a l'intérieur du bras et ne traine pas sur le bureau quand on tire l'écran. Ca marche très bien, il y a des systèmes + développé pour cacher les câbles mais cet Ergotron fait un excellent job, et la simplicité fait que son installation est beaucoup + simple. Le bras permet de bouger l'écran vers le haut et le bas. On peut toucher avec l'écran le bureau en descendant, et on peut monter sur 40 cm +/- en hauteur. Je ne pense pas qu'il y ai de limite sur la rotation droite et gauche de l'écran, je touche le mur derrière l'écran avant d'atteindre cette limite. On peut faire également une rotation pour qu'au lieu que l'écran soit horizontale, il soit placé verticalement, on peut incliner en avant et en arrière l'écran (la rotation avant et arrière moins libre que sur les autres angles, dommage). Et on peut tirer vers soit l'écran sur un 80 cm a un bon mètre je pense. Tout ça très facilement, avec l'agréable sensation de résistance que l'écran offre, signe de qualité. Au final, un excellent produit. Il ne va pas révolutioner votre utilisation du pc si vous êtes juste un utilisateur standard. Cependant il va améliorer de façon notable votre expérience du jour au jour. Lorsque je regarde un film, je me penche juste en arrière sur mon fauteuil et je soulève l'écran tout en le penchant en avant, afin d'avoir l'écran au dessus de moi pendant que je suis couché, mon canapé est suffisamment proche pour mater l'écran en tant assis dessus, pouvoir mettre l'écran en verticale est très pratique pour la lecture de certains pdf, ou pour regarder certaine image (permettant que l'image prenne une bcp + grande partie de l'écran), la place libérée sous l'écran n'est pas négligeable non plus. J'ai maintenant caché sous cet écran une rallonge USB, le câble de recharge de mon téléphone portable etc, il est bien mieux de les avoir caché derrière l'écran que de trainer sur le coté du bureau. Au final mon seul regret est que mon deuxième écran n'est pas de connecteur VESA pour installer un bras sur lui. Note : Qualité 5/5 Look 5/5 Simplicité d'installation 5/5 (installé en 15 mn) Note finale 5/5 Edit : 4 ans pus tard, mon pied Ergotron fonctionne toujours à merveille. Un de mes meilleurs achats. Depuis mes ecrans ont évolués, et le modèle actuel installé dessus est un écran 4k de 28" et le pied ergotron ne bronche pas et le maintient parfaitement fixe et stable. J'ai craqué et j'ai acheté une rallonge pour le bras permettant de tirer l'écran + loin. Même avec le bras tendu au maximum il reste parfaitement stable. La seule deception est que le bras augmente la portée du bras en longueur et pas en hauteur.

I really like that one is able to elevate and tit at any angle a computer monitor, which is a huge bonus when doing art on a computer, and was very easy to install the monitor onto the Ergotron. Also, the item is rather robust and well made, and would highly recommend it to anyone doing graphic art or illustration. One of my computer monitors does not have VESA mounts so make sure to check the back of your monitor prior to order, but all in all a very good product.

I received this product the next day. On opening the box you could tell the product was well made and I believe will last a long time. My monitor was near the maximum weight that the arm could support (25 inch HP monitor) and the arm required some adjustment in order to hold it in a firm and steady position and not fall to the desk. I found it easy to put the arm together. The directions are not very easy to understand especially where adjustment is required to make the arm stable and hold the weight of the monitor. The arm provides installation via a grommet or desk clamp. I am using the desk clamp, which is well made and sturdy (the desk is about 3/4 inch thick). The installation took no more than 15 minutes. The arm comes in three pieces I attached the first piece contain the clamp to the desk and inserted the second piece to the first piece. I attached the monitor to the third piece and then mounted the third piece onto the second piece. This process is contrary to the directions but it seemed the most efficient for me. It has only been a few days that I have used the product but so far I am very happy with the purchase. The arm is fully adjustable...it provides me with more desk space as my monitor is raised above the desk. I can also move the monitor away from the desk when not in use.
