if you are looking to identify with the Savior Jesus Christ, read this book. It helps you to be obedient the word of God by connecting to the power of the Holy Spirit through scriptural backup and why it is so important to rely on the love that you know only feel your life, but I hope you will quickly start treating others as you yourself would want to be treated. It awakens the spirit within and you begin to realize that life without Christ, is really right in our own intuitions which is so archetypes wrong because we are so geared to dealing with things from our own personal perspective.

Immediate Obedience is a challenging and inspiring read that will force you to move from where you are to a place of greater obedience. Whether you have followed Christ for 50 years or 50 minutes it will challenge your heart toward a deeper relationship with The Lord and a greater revelation of what it means to obey.

This is one of the most challenging books that I have read in a long time. We talk about living dead, but how do we do that exactly? This book gives practical insight into the daily adventure of living a life surrendered to Christ.

It has changed my answer to “yes Lord” instead of how I am feeling at the time. I look forward to reading anything Rod Loy writes in the future. Thank you for your book.

Rod Loy does a great job illustrating and explaining his journey of learning to be immediately obedient. The anecdotes, letters, and testimonies were real, down-to-earth, and didn't seem hyperbolized. It is an inspirational read. I'm going to take the 99 Day Challenge.

This book is helping me to understand what God wants from us as Christians. Practicing the Immediate Obedience at the time when you think you should is sometimes challenging.

Very powerful book that will stir up your spiritual life! It has that "can't put it down" attribute!

Challenging stuff! Do not read this book unless you want to be seriously challenged as a Christian. It has been an uncomfortable read for me as it has shown me how far away I am from 'immediate obedience'. However, the book has inspired me and is turning my life upside down. Funnily enough though, when I re-read the gospels Jesus teaches exactly the same thing! The writer's normality and warmth shines through and it is very well written. I am so glad I have read this book and I recommend it to any Christian looking to commit fully to their relationship with God. This is fantastic stuff!
