Excellent seller, can't fault their service at all, only comment I would make and it is related to the product, is that my wife thought it was a little on the heavy side, which I guess is needed to make the contact with the skin and keep it in place. Already having a bad shoulder this made it a little uncomfortable to begin with. However, once the pain has eased this issue goes away and it definitely works to relieve the pain for her, she uses it regularly as has an ongoing problem. Have only used hot so cannot comment about use as an Ice pack but suspect it would be just as good.

I bought this product as I needed to replace an old microwaveable wheat neck pad. I have a very painful, stiff neck and my physiotherapist recommended that I use heat on it in-between physio sessions. I noted that a number of reviewers mentioned the weight of the neck and shoulder pad, and it is very heavy and bulky on the sections that wrap around the front of your neck. For me the weight is manageable, although I understand that the weight is an issue for some people. What I like about the heat pad is that it retains its heat for quite a long time, and if you sit still it remains in position across your back and around your neck. However, if you walk about, the heat pad slides away from your neck. The best way to use this heat pad is to take a seat, relax and let the heat pad do its work of soothing away your aches and pains.

This was purchased because I have sciatic nerve issues in my neck and shoulders. I was a bit nervous with the device using clay balls instead of the nornal wheat. But the clay based balls work well and hold the heat possibly a little little longer (two minutes maximum in the microwave). you have to make sure when you remove the pad from the microwave you disperse the balls evenly before you apply. This pad has worked very well and after several days my neck and should alrewady feel a lot better. An excellent product and very comfortable to wear with the fleece covering.

In general the product does what it says on the tin & personally I was happy with the weight (I am a 6'5" 19St. biological male). HOWEVER, for £16.99 the heat doesn't last more than 10-15mins to the body (less through clothing), and that's after a maximum heating of 2mins, even though the product continues to remain warm to the touch! Also the measurements are misleading given it is 12" L x 12" W - the 17" being diagonal (not made clear on the Amazon page nor the box!) And there are only 3x compartments (1x being for the neck) such that the beads fall off the shoulders.

Item delivered the day after the order was placed and well packaged. Item ideal, used to use lavender bags but this item is made specifically for the shoulders, so it fits well and doesn't slip off. Only use in microwave so far, but easy to use and warms quickly.

Only used once but very heavy which is not a plus

I have had something similar before but a random shape but this time really needed to heat up my neck which was super painful for days. The nature of clay beads is that they obey gravity so this being a single horse shoe shaped sack they beads will gather and some manipulation (string/elastic) could be needed to make sure you have heat in the right places for you. Maybe more bead or pockets would make this product even better.

I quite like this, and it did offer some relief, however, after just a few days there were tiny beads everywhere as the seam had split due to poor stitching.

This heating pad is delicious! Feels great on my neck and shoulders. Remains warm for a good 20 minutes. The only negative is that it is slightly heavy. I love the fact that it is non-scented as some of those herbal pads can be just too strong. I would recommend this pad to anyone with neck or upper back pain or aches. It is very soothing before bed to reduce stress and relax you! I've now had it for 2 months and I love it! It stays hot the longest compared to other heat pads. Once I got used to the weighted feeling it is really great now. If you have neck or back pain do yourself a favor and order this. You will not find a better heat pad out there. I have tried over 20 different pads and this is the best by far. Also, I like that it doesn't have any unpleasant aromatherapy scents like my other pads.

This was perfect for my needs because it provides moist heat exceptionally well! Also, the microwave charge lasts long enough for your muscles to benefit. I have an electric heating pad but I did not feel comfortable falling asleep connected to electricity and it was dry heat, and it did.not.mold to.my affected area. The drawback is if you.take it to bed with you, it will cool off faster than an electric pad. That was not an issue for me. I used it up to bedtime and rested easier by bedtime. Be careful not to over heat as it gets real hot if you heat it over the recommended time. It also depends on strength of you microwave. But all said. Very happy. I had neck and shoulder issues but my husband had back issues and it worked for him. Great quality as well. Worth the money.
