Skin Tone DOMINAS Treatment Ampoule (1.7fl oz) - Korean All-in-One Serum for Wrinkles, Moisturization, Glutathione, Vitamin B12, CoQ10 & Niacinamide

This is one of those facial serums that I really enjoy using. It's a wonderfully rich milky serum that pampers my mature combination skin. Nourishes the skin while it conditions. Provides moisturization while also making the skin more supple and elastic. Firms up the skin without making it feel tight. Does not leave the skin with unwanted residuals that make the skin feel oily or greasy, though it will be slightly dewy for a very short period of time upon application. Once that settles, move along to applying your moisturizer. Diminishes fine lines and even softens some of the deeper set ones. Will also help to provide you with a radiant, youthful glow. Best for those with normal to dry skin. It's excellent for my mature combination skin. Good for both men and women alike. I would especially recommend this serum to those with mature skin who need a little extra boost to take a few years off of your appearance.

The brand name Dominas is one of my go-to brand whenever I feel like the melasma on my face looks obvious. I actually really love their hydroquinone cream in the black jar - which I ask my friends to send me from South Korea - and this time I ordered this and tried it out. So let's see from the ingredients Ingredients Unlike the original black jar cream, this IS HYDROQUINONE FREE. I think it's good for someone and somehow disappointing to others. I am the latter but still, vitamin B3 (niacinamide) is still the 4th ingredients. My problem is that this product is just full of silicone derivatives and PEG - they are not horrible to someone but if you have acne prone skin, probably you should pass. Also, it contains a little of everything - tranexamic acid, HAs, glutathione, copper peptide (but too little to be effective )and interestingly contains titanium dioxide and mica - so it's more like primer / makeup product rather than serum that you can use day and night. I think the term ampoule concentrate is slightly misleading. It contains fragrance and used benzyl benzoate as preservative. I am not sure I am 100% satisfied with the ingredient but if you consider this as a primer, then it's a good mixture of skincare and beautifying ingredients. Texture: Due to the primer like formula, it has excellent texture and leave the skin very radiant and glowing. Effectiveness: It works well - brighten up the skin tone generally, and leaves skin radiant. But... I am not really sure it made my melasma visible brighter. But overall skin tone is definitely enhanced. Final Thought: I think it's an acceptable skincare product yet you can find many - like literally many other product with near 20% concentration of the niacinamide under $20. So even if I somehow like this product, I can't give 5 stars. If you are looking for a primer for glowing radiance, then probably this product is worth it. If you have acne prone skin and reactive to silicone based product frequently, then probably you should be very careful about this product.

Not effective . Can I return it

Used the entire bottle. It did nothing for my dark spots!

After a few weeks no difference, my under eyes are not that bad but could use a little help. I was hoping to see some difference but after 3 weeks still nothing. The bottle should last a while considering you are not using much when using it under your eyes. I'll report back if I do end up seeing a difference.

At 49, this serum helps address one of my major skin concerns, and that’s the newly developing dark spots and occasional pigmentation issues. The main ingredients in this serum for targeting that concern are Niacinamide, Glutathione and Tranexamic Acid. It comes sealed, in a double-wall box, and expires in 2026. The serum itself is milky-white and silky, with almost a silicone-like feel. It smells like grapefruit and while that doesn’t bother me, I feel like skincare products should be fragrance-free to avoid sensitivities. It absorbs pretty quickly, in less than 30 seconds and there’s only a slight tacky feeling for a little bit that eventually goes away completely. I like to apply it in the morning after cleansing and toning and then follow with a moisturizer containing sunscreen. The potential of this serum to lighten dark spots and hyperpigmentation is really good but you have to be patient. Their study took place over a year. Results will come but skin has to go through phases of recycle and lightening skin is a process that takes time. For now though, I am enjoying the moisturizing, soothing, and antioxidant benefits of this serum. It has some great skin-mimicking ingredients like squalane, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, amino acids that leave my skin feeling like it’s nourished and protected. It’s priced a little high but 1.69 ounces should last for a little while. Overall, this is an impressive serum and I’m looking forward to the improvements my skin will see in the future. Highly recommended!

While I have not yet noticed any change in the small age spots I am getting (I am in my late 40s) my skin overall does appear brighter after 3 weeks of use. I will keep it up and if I notice any significant improvement in my dark spots I will update review and add a star. Overall though, this is a lovely gentle serum. I use the dropper directly to my face and only apply a small amount on each cheek area (where I am getting age spots). A little goes a long way. The serum is milky white (see photo) with a smooth silky feel. It does leave my fingers a bit tacky after rubbing in but it soaks into the face very quickly and does not leave any residue behind. I've noticed my skin being softer and appearing brighter, more even, on the cheeks where I've applied this so it does seem to be having a nice effect. No real scent that I noticed.

In fact, it has only reinforced my belief in the effectiveness of their skincare range. This serum has a luxurious and silky texture, reminiscent of milk, and it boasts an incredible fragrance that makes me prefer skincare products with scents as long as they smell this good. Its fast absorption into my skin leaves a slight tacky sensation, but it promptly disappears. When it comes to lightening dark spots or hyperpigmentation, we are all aware that achieving good results requires time and patience. Although I haven't used this product long enough to see drastic changes, I remain very optimistic about its potential effectiveness. The included dropper works flawlessly, allowing me to accurately measure and apply the perfect amount of product. Overall, this serum has left a lasting impression on me due to its outstanding quality. At the time of writing this review, I noticed that the current price is $47. In my opinion, it's a great deal for all the features and benefits you get with your purchase. I highly recommend.
