This is a good alternative or addition to a birthday card. I bought it for someone in their 90s, and they loved reading about the details of their birth year. It’s more interesting than a regular birthday card.

This booklet was nicer than I anticipated. It had about 5-6 pages of nostalgia. It makes a great card-gift for someone. I am glad I bought it.

Surprised to see so many negative comments about this! The page clearly indicates that it is a small pamphlet/card for birthdays and other special occasions. Considering it’s not actually that much more expensive than other greeting cards, I think it is completely worth the price. You get several pages of news headlines from the year you select, and there are 3 pages to write on at the end. Personally I got this as a birthday card for my boyfriend, who is a huge history buff, and he thought it was fantastic. This is something he can actually keep unlike other birthday cards that end up in the trash anyway.

I bought this for my boss' 75th birthday. It has really interesting information & blank pages at the end to add your own notes or well-wishes. The quality is decent - not great, but adequate.

My mother-in-law turned 100 recently and we used this as a table decoration at her party. As soon as she saw it she sat down to look through the illustrations in the book. She talked with the other family members about her memories of her growing up years. This was very special as she was an orphan and has very few mementos from her childhood.

My mother-in-law's 100th birthday celebration is coming up and I saw this card and thought it was perfect. It arrived and was better than I anticipated. The colors are beautiful, the events are interesting to read, and it will be a hit at the reception we're having as people can stop and read it. I'm so glad I purchased this. Don't hesitate, it's worth it!

Gift for my dad. He loved it. Found in a local shop but they were out of this year so I looked on Amazon. Crazy thing, Amazon was more expensive then the little gift shop I found it in! But really wanted it so it was worth the extra $2

Wouldn't give you 5 cents for TIME magazine now - but back in the day it was a wonderful publication. These booklets are fun from years past.

A cute birthday card, fun facts about the year of birth. I got both of my parents one, and they had fun reading through it.

I bought 1919 to give to my Grandmother for her 100th birthday. Not too much too it. I think I could have easily googled the information contained within it.

Was a great idea but can't even read the print on any of the adds or pages , all blurry and isn't sized to the full page. Very cheap.
