I'm shocked! this really is a great little egg piercer. light weight and small (perfect size for using and storing) and is durable so far and does the job. Great value for the money. I was having a horrible time with peeling hard boiled eggs and discovered that this helps a lot along with making sure your eggs get put on high heat and boil for a minute first before removing from the heat to cover and sit for 10 - 11 minutes. I am 48 yo and just now able to peel eggs without wrecking them. Glad I bought this.

Great quality works well

Learning curve but once you get the hang of it you will love it. Helpful hint: leave eggs in carton, place Piercer on large end (usually already has this side up in carton), put gentle but firm pressure on each point of the Piercer at the same time (think triangle) with you fingers. You have succeed when you feel it go through the shell piercing the membrane.

Works! Finally I can peel a boiled egg perfectly

Compared to my last metal egg piercer this one takes more pressure and the needle is not quite pointy enough. Eggs are more likely to crack.

Took a bit if getting used to to prick the egg, once done and after cooking the egg shell was easily removed. Could be a better design to make it easier to use.
