Shorter than expected!
We live in a 1950s house and, in order for the security bar to reach the handle of any of our interior doors, it needs to be set on the longest extension point. For the front and rear external doors, where the handles are positioned above the mid point- the jammer cannot reach.

Not useful
The 4th image shows it stopping a sliding door from opening but there is no stopping from the glass from being broken.

This winter our front door deadbolt wouldn't lock because we were experiencing an exceptional extended cold snap. We were able to lock the 'regular' lock, but I didn't feel like we had enough security. This security bar fits very easily under our doorknob, and fits securely against the floor to wedge the front door shut. I am impressed at how heavy-duty this bar feels, and it is incredibly easy to install it.

I moved into my own apartment and, frankly, am paranoid. Having this really does make me feel a lot better. It's super sturdy and easy to simply pop up against the handle before bed. It's peace of mind for me and very easy to store in the corner when not in use
