No more waking/ returning to gas smell
May have saved my life !!!! Since I’ve thus far, been unable to keep my cat from exploring the stove while out of the house or asleep😧 I have the guards back to front because they slide more easily that way. And I have them sideways works great and doesn’t interfere with the oven door. Easy to use and nearly unnoticeable I looked at several options. I’m so pleased I chose this affordable well-made product. I honestly fall asleep better knowing I’m safe from the cat accidentally stepping on the knob releasing gas, when his naughty self jumps on and off the stove, while I’m sleeping. I highly recommend this product. It absolutely works on my HOTPOINT gas stove.

when i moved into my mobile home and it has a narrow galley style kitchen. i inadvertently would brush up against a knob and lightly turn the gas on. with these it never happens again and they are easy to use. I was afraid of difficulty as I am 64 and not as strong as I use to be but these are perfect

Do not recommend
When I actually get it in place so it can't turn the knob, what's happening is it's tilting the knob and I'm worried it'll break it since it's just plastic. When I first got them I thought I was putting them in place but it was just looks and we could easily turn the knob, kids included. Another issue is if I try to turn it out of the way when cooking it moves the knob which adjusts the flame. My final issue that I just noticed when I removed it for the video is that since I bought it to now (~2 weeks) it has ripped apart. I'm going back to the plastic covers even though I don't like them much.

Work for the most part
Items are kinda cheap and weird to use and some times end up popping the knobs off when trying to lock them but keeps the kids from turning the stove on and someone's back side as well when hitting it with your ass

They work great.
I put these on my stove to keep my dad from turning it on as in he has alzheimers and was Turing it on to sit cups and stuff on the stove. These have really helped as he can not figure out how to get them off.

Okay Product but Some Flaws
I purchased the product and it does serve the intended purpose of keeping anyone from mistakenly engaging the gas. However, the design is not ideal if your knobs are on the front side of the stove over the oven door. The guards constantly interfere with the oven door and have to be repositioned out of the way.
