I received a non steaming iron and it’s not hot enough to even iron a very thin fabric.

I ordered this steam iron on 19 December, with an estimated delivery of 21–22 December. It only arrived on 2 January, completely missing Christmas. This was meant to be a Christmas gift, so the late delivery alone was already disappointing. When it finally arrived, it was clear the product had been used before. The box was flimsy, damaged, and poorly packed. The iron itself had marks and signs of prior use, which is unacceptable for something sold as new (see photos). The build quality is extremely poor. It feels cheap and unsafe: • Chrome coated plastic on the sides is already peeling off • Plastic is placed very close to the hot plate, which does not feel safe • Overall construction feels lowquality and poorly designed When I added water to test the steam function, things got worse. As soon as I switched it on, there was a strong burning plastic smell. When pressing the steam button, the water just spills out from the top instead of producing steam. This is not normal and is genuinely unsafe. This unit is clearly defective, poorly made, and potentially dangerous. It is absolutely not worth the money, not even at a discount honestly, not worth it even for free. Stay away from this product.

Powerful, little travel iron, lightweight, but sturdy. Looks cute and stylish in lilac (purple) colour. Good small iron and easy to use. Effective at both ironing and steam function. Ideal for holidays and doing a few garments at a time, for a pristine, crisp appearance. Heats up very quickly, takes awhile to cool down, about 20-30 minutes. I would have given this iron 5* - but it does not have a temperature control, so you have to be very careful with handling the iron, it gets very hot, very quickly. I accidentally touched the sole plate and slightly burnt my finger, operator error, but keep away from children and vulnerable adults. Nice little base plate to rest the iron. The only other downside is the instructions are minutely small to read. Intuitive to actually use though. I just wonder how long the rubber water tank stopper will remain intact, seems a little flimsy, and if that is lost you would not be able to use the steam function safely. Decent sized water tank (100ml) for the size of this compact travel iron. If handled carefully, no problem. I like it. Can recommend.

I bought this travel steamer to bring on an upcoming holiday and have to say it's a great steamer/iron. Its lightweight, heats up very quickly, and very powerful for such a small little iron. It can be used as a clothes steamer by adjusting the handle or as a conventional iron, it comes with a little jug to fill the iron and a plate for standing it on when its heated. I tried it out as a Steamer on a chiffon dress and it worked really well all creases were removed in minutes and the end result is a very smooth item of clothing. It did not leak any water it's perfect for travel and for use at home. I would not hesitate to recommend this product.

Wasn't as quick to get wrinkles out of a pair of chino trousers or cotton shirt but eventually they looked better. I would say you need either an iron board under item or table with towel etc. So you can put pressure on item. But overall it was fine and look fwd to using product in future when next away.
