So I didn’t think that it could get better than the vacuum pen I have, but it alerts my dog to the fact that I’m paying attention to something other than him and while I still think it’s a great pen, since I quickly went from knowing nothing about Diamond painting to becoming an enthusiast and actually understanding the function of the clay, etc I wanted to give it a try. I got it in purple and I love it. I feel like I prefer tools that are heavier in my hand for balance and accuracy and this fulfills that. Most of all, I love that rather than poking at wax, it comes from the inside of the pen. That part, admittedly takes a little practice to get used to because the very slightest push to move the top is all you need. Any more than very slight movement and you will end up extruding too much of the clay. It’s very easy to use once you are used to it. A little goes a long way and you’ll be surprised and how slight the movement is to get just enough. It doesn’t come in a variety of colors, it eliminates the step of having to push your tool into the clay, which is very convenient. I have no problem with the wax that it comes with, but to refill it, if you have a favorite brand, it shows you how to roll it up to use any clay that you prefer. The size is comparable to the vacuum pen as well as the weight. I find it comfortable to use and the barrel is as thick as a quality pen. For me, it’s a good fit. I love that the other end works as a tool to push your gems into line and make it look so much better. Very happy with this purchase although I do love my vacuum pen and I will no doubt use both. It’s great to have a portable compact portion to bring projects on the go and not require outlets. Well worth the cost.

I love this pen so much. I wish I had known about it when I started diamond art during covid. It saves me all that time I spend trying to pick up a drill with a pen that’s clearly needs more wax, but I don’t want to stop and fill it. My favorite part is the metal piece on the end that lines up your drills by putting them in the proper place in line. I’ve been trying forever to figure out how to make that happen and this just works beautifully so I’d have to say overall I am really happy with his purchase.

I thought this pen would be a gimmicky disappointment, but I have sooo much wax I need a use for, and it’s fairly cheap, so I took a chance. I’m so glad I did! I’d been working on coasters that used round drills, and this pen has the perfect size tip for those. I haven’t worked a square drill project with these, but I did play around with square drills, and it worked great on them, too. The metal tip is almost the same size as a cheap bronze one, and that’s exactly what I was hoping for. It allows you to be incredibly accurate in your placement, so no hours and hours of wiggling drills at the end of every project. The scraper end is also incredibly thin. So now the real question: how’s the wax feature? It’s amazing!! If I need more, only the slightest pressure on the twist-screw is needed to feed enough wax thru for another 10-15 minutes of ‘painting’. It comes with two refill plugs, but at the rate I’m going, it’s going to be a WHILE before I need a new one. And when those get used, a small square of the wax that comes with the kits will roll/smash up just fine! The only down side would be this is single-drill placement only, but it does such a great job at that, I’m fine with that! I plan on seeing what other pens Benote makes because I love this one so much. I think it’s a steal at $11.

This works great! I just wish the top part was interchangeable for multi placement. It wouldn't be automatic but I could just turn it around and use that instead of keeping another pen for multi placement only. I want to say that the finger pad "squishy" is the ultimate BEST. The fact that it is a solid, flat surface makes it so comfortable for my fingeraq. Thank you for inventing this! I've also used a different company's silicone putty rolled up tight, and that works too.

Even with old wax, this pen works. I like the ease of use, the size and quality.

So far I’m liking this a lot! I love not having to go back and forth with the wax - I just have to twist to get a little more out. I also really like the top end with the tool I can use to straighten lines. It’s very comfortable and easy to use. The only suggestions for improvement I’d have is that it’s a bit hard to twist it and by the time you can, the amount of wax that comes out is more than is needed so you have to remove some or it ends up coming off in a big clump as you place diamonds. The other would be that I appreciate that it came with wax refills, but the vast majority of what came in mine are the flat squares like you get anywhere else. I only got about 4 tiny sticks of the rounded kind that refills the pen. I’m guessing there may be a way to use the squares to do the same but no information is included to help with that.

This is the best diamond art pen to have. Easy to use. Weight balanced and comes with row straightener. Great buy for money.

Really love this Wax Pen. My first one broke but I believe it was just overused. I diamond paint practically every day. I immediately ordered a replacement because I don't think I could do it without this tool. I have the vaccuum pen but this is so much better. Great product!

Love this. A must if you do diamond painting and you dont like the bulky pens. Grip is comfortable, lightweight. And easy to operate.

I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. This pen works just like it says it should, it works amazing for both round and square drills and the wax lasts forever. I liked it so much I bought 2! It is very easy to use even with my arthritic hands and is the perfect size. Their customer support team is amazing and so pleasant to deal with and their delivery time is so fast. I will forever be a benote customer as they never disappoint!

Used the pen that comes with the kits but this one works very well
