I bought these to use for my chicken ballontine. They are sharp and very easy to thread and truss. I like that they have a storage bag because they are very sharp. Nice to have different sizes too.

The needles met my expectations, and they worked very well for me when sewing up the duck before roasting to ensure the stuffing wouldn't fall out.

For Thanksgiving I prepared a turducken, which consist of a deboned duck and chicken and turkey. Between each meat is apple dressing inside the turkey then the duck is placed on top with cranberry dressing and then the chicken got plain cornbread dressing and then is sewed up and baked for 3 1/2 hours. The needles are durable and the length of each is great. The functionality is simple. Great value for the cost. But you have to be careful not to stick yourself because the needles are very sharp.

Good for poultry and meat trusting with fairly easy to thread needle eyes. The different sizes are nice but I tend to use the larger needles mostly.
