Is it possible to do smaller mixes and have the machine actually reach the bottom properly with the beater and whisker, or just it skim a few cm over the bottom of the bowl?

I do small mixes. You have to scrape the bowl down a few times. I love mine because it enables me to triple some recipes.

SO does it or does it not have fold function?

I don't Have the correct beater/tool for this operation, but it can be purchased separately. If you mean does it open and close by folding Yes it does in order to change some tooling and remove bowl etc.

What is the warranty on this item?

On the models Titanium the warranty is of 5 years because they use High Quality Motors and Gearboxes .. on the other versions, motor and gearboxes are totally different and poor quality is for that reason just give 1 year.. ( get broken easily )

The box says 'designed and engineered in the UK' so I rather suspect that, like many of the parts, it could be made in China! However, it does work well.
