One of the best mixers for joint compound you can buy. Pro's: mixes in a uniform manner so your bucket doesn't wobble super bad even at full power. Gives a good thorough mixing of your joint compound. Cons: You need a heavy duty drill to mix mud with it or you will have a high chance of burning up your drill. Cons

Heavy duty, really moves the mud
This thing is a beast compared to pretty much anything else you'll find, and the paddle design works better for mixing mud than the other styles.

Used it today. talk about moving mud in the buck and really mixing it thoroughly this is the best. I own several mixer blades but none do it as well as this mixer does. Worth every dime. Easy to clean with a brush or a rag.

The best
This is the best mixer I have had and I've tried a nice few different styles. Doesn't seem like a big deal but when you mix 15-20 boxes of mud a day and this cuts down the mixing time. Also seems easier on the motor of the mud mixer "drill".

This thing is well worth the extra money - it works wonderfully! Stays centred in the bucket and does not scrape the sides. Mixes drywall mud quickly and smoothly. Of course it is sold by the people who make drywall mud so it stands to reason it works well!

Stop shopping and buy this one.
If you're a taper, you need this mixer. Pulls mud in from sides and feeds it over the top and down the shaft. No bucket shake, no splash, no side scrape. I mixed a bucket that was full to the top with mud, holding my makita mixing drill with ONE HAND! - NO JOKE. Best one I've ever used. If you love pail wobble and enjoy picking out spirals of plastic the other paddles leave in your mud.. This isn't for you..

Moves mud!
This thing is great! It seriously mixes mud really well. It pulls the mud and the drill with good force to the bottom of the bucket. I’m very impressed honestly I just wish it mixed mortar with that much ease but I’m not really complaining. Would highly recommend for serious drywallers
