Betus Original Replacement Flip Desk Shelf Clock Replacement Cards -Hour Cards

I couldn't believe that I could purchase this! My flip digit clock was the same brand and after 4 or 5 years the cards have started falling off. I carefully compared images and brand name and I was pretty convinced this would work. It worked perfectly. The plastic wheel wasn't identical so I ended up replacing just the individual cards that had broken. Takes about 20 seconds to replace each one, you just have to form a little curve with the card to make the tabs able to go into the slots. I ended up using about 5 cards, and kept the rest for when other cards break.

I ordered these as replacements for my flip clock, hoping to finally fix the sticking issue I'd been having with the original cards, but these have caused more problems than they solved. Within the first couple of weeks, I noticed a few of the minute cards starting to warp slightly at the edges, which threw off how cleanly they flip. It didn't take long before that warping turned into actual breakage. I've had multiple cards crack right along the fold line where they attach to the mechanism, and once that happens, they either flip crookedly or stop flipping altogether. For a product whose entire job is to flip reliably minute after minute, hour after hour, that's a pretty fundamental failure. The material feels thin and brittle compared to what I'd expect from a durable replacement part. It doesn't seem built to handle the repeated flipping motion long-term, which is disappointing since that's really the only thing these cards need to do. Installation itself was simple enough, and that's really the only positive I can point to. But when the actual replacement parts break down faster than the worn-out originals I was trying to replace, it defeats the entire purpose of buying them. I need cards that can hold up to constant daily use without cracking or warping, and unfortunately these just don't deliver. Wouldn't recommend, and I'll be looking for a sturdier alternative elsewhere.

Thank you! I can't find a replacement anywhere for the broken numbers. So this was a big help! Although I did not notice that it comes with the roller itself so I just took the missing numbers and placed it on the clock.

1/19/25- UPDATE. Another. 8 1/6/25- UPDATE: home from work and another tile on the floor. 7 1/2/25- UPDATE: another tile just broke. 6 12/13/24- UPDATE: another tile just broke. Up to 5. 12/6/24- UPDATE: dropped another star. Since my last review 2 additional tiles just broke off over various days for some random reason. I come home and I see a tile on the floor. I'm up to 4 broken tiles with nothing to cause any damage to the clock as it sits untouched on a shelf. For no reason whatsoever, the minute tiles randomly start breaking. I replaced my old set (multiple broken tiles) on Daylight Savings Time in March 2024 and by September, two tiles had broken off already. The clock sits on a shelf, so no handling or bumping that would cause any damage, just one day a tile is laying on the floor. Next week, so is another.

The numbers break after about 6 months to a year of use.

I'm on my THIRD clock. Every single one starts to lose cards off the minute deck after a few months. My current clock runs slow and needs to be adjusted every few days. It is also missing several cards. I purchased this deck to try and remedy part of the problem, but there are no instructions how to install it. Don't waste your time on this clock or the replacement cards.

Quality of flips are very good. Sadly only hours supplied. Unable to find minutes, so had to adapt for repair of clock.
