Very good, cleaned thoroughly
I actually bought this for a wetsuit that was in storage and hadn’t been used. I hated to see a good O’Neill suit just sitting there, so I figured I’d clean and donate it. It definitely worked. Parts of the suit were unfortunately sun lightened (but not dried out) and I couldn’t restore the color but overall the suit was still in very good shape, so I washed it in the sink, air dried it and donated what would have probably gone to the landfill to a secondhand shop.it looked clean and smelled really nice. I’m keeping the soap to wash yoga mats in so it definitely won’t go to waste!

Neoprene feels better and smells great
Dive and scuba gear can be hard to keep clean and the constant in and out of the water really slows down the drying process. We used this every few months for a larger soak and clean cycle. It works great on booties and wetsuits. A couple of capfuls go a long way and we just soaked all our gear in the bath tub overnight and air dried it the next day. Foams up a little like bubble bath. Our gear now smells fresh in our storage area. It really does appear to help clean the gear.

Works well for us.
Seems to work well... We use more of the bcd cleaner, inside, outside of 2 bcds... The wetsuit cleaner works well, smells nice. We use about 4 gallons of water for wetsuit type stuff cleaning, so 2 Oz of cleaner... For bcd we use like 1oz inside each, and a few Oz for the washing outside... About 5 or so Oz of bcd cleaner total for both bcds... Not sure if proper, just following directions... Salt water diving... Hydros pro with air 2 for myself and wife... She has a wetsuit, and I have sharkskin gear, jacket, pants, shorts, rash guards... Hope this helps...

Good product
I was dealing with some issues awhile back and was chain smoking in my house for a couple of years. Smoke was in everything including my Simms fishing jackets. This product worked very well at cleaning and removing the stink from jackets took me about an hour of soak time and 10 minutes of actual work.

If you own and wear wetsuits, you should use this.
I have been using wetsuits my entire life and own many different suits. This soap does great job keeping the smell of suits from getting funky and it even works getting rid of the funk that builds up. I had a few pairs of booties that were so gross from forgetting about them in the back of my SUV, this shampoo took care of it and had them smelling like new. Granted, it also had me buying a boot dryer to get them dry, but in combination, this shampoo is still awesome.

Great for End of Year Wetsuit cleaning
I have a variety of triathlon wetsuits that I use during the year. They go in a variety of different bodies of water, and do not get regularly cleaned during the summer. However, I try and keep the neoprene in good shape so the wetsuits last. At the end of each season, I buy a wetsuit shampoo and fully clean all the wetsuits. This product seems to do a good job. I put all the wetsuits in the bathtub and fill it with lukewarm water. I soak the wetsuits in water, then add the shampoo. This shampoo is easy to add and mixes will with the water. It suds up easily and seems to really penetrate the neoprene. I leave the wetsuits to soak for a while, then rinse them out. My main concern with the shampoo is that it ca be very hard to get out of the fabric and neoprene. It typically takes many additional washes and soaks before the water stops bubbling. This is the bulk of the effort. However, this also shows that the shampoo is really cleaning the wetsuit, so it is a price worth paying. Once the wetsuits are cleaned and fried, I feel comfortable storing them for the winter, and they are always soft and ready for the next summer. I have also used this product on swim skins, and I had similar results.

Muy bueno y funciona al 100%. Mi Xcel de 2004 que estava en una mochila por 12 años ahora huele a frescura y se siente más suave. De verdad el champú revivió y salvó mi mejor wetsuit. Gracias Gear Aid!
