I totally love this product. I'm farsighted and it seems the tiny print on everything is too small, even with my correct reading glasses. This is especially annoying when trying to read directions on hair care products. I wear this pendant all the time. It's attractive - looks like jewelry. It comes in very handy for so many situations when I only need to read a few lines on a package. Seems instructions on most imported products are getting tinier too.

On the plus side, the lens is glass and good quality, not a gimmick. The filligree case and plating are attractive and finish and color is good, chain is nice and a good size and length, so no strain to reach it and use when reading something. On the negative side, it does run a little heavy and also instead of sliding out of the filligree case it is attached by a magnet. What that means is the case no longer acts as a handle as it is a bit wobbly and to me a little odd instead of a sliding case. So, it is a reading glasses substitute, for things like reading labels at grocery stores, or needing to read package temp and times or the mail something to have in a pinch and always available round the neck. Time will tell whether I turn to it more, or reading glasses more.

Beautiful, yet clever and practical necklace. It is a great help in the grocery store to read expiration dates, etc. when I don't want to keep pulling out my readers. I gave one to a friend as a gift and she is thrilled with it. I have only had it for a week, so I do have questions about the durability. I am afraid the top decorative piece may come off. The necklace is long and heavier than my other costume jewelry but I still love it.

This magnifyer pendant is very pretty. It was well packaged and I had no trouble with the chain. It is solid and well made. Contrary to some reviews, I did not feel that it was too heavy. As a piece of jewelry it is quite lovely, but I really need something for the magnifying function. The magnifyer is actual glass, but for me, a plus-sized woman, the chain was too short to make it useful.

I otherwise would have been happy with this piece. Is otherwise sturdy enough, very nice magnifying glass with beautiful ornate pendant that clasps by magnet to frame of glass. long chain, looks lovely. Ordered as a special gift for Christmas, and when I went to wrap it, I was taking it out of plastic bag it came in inside the gift box, and saw it had a large gouge/ scratch right in centre of glass. So, so disappointed. Edit- Have since gotten more responsive communication from seller, and have resolved the issue. I spoke with the intended recipient of the gift, and since the gold was no longer available, they said they could live with the scratch. I requested to get a 50% refund and keep the piece, and seller agreed with this proposal.
