This laptop stand is perfect for working on your actual lap! It's nicely padded so that it is comfortable on the legs, although it does seem a bit warm in this heatwave we are experiencing. It is mostly made of plastic (which keeps it quite light weight). However, the mechanism that raises and tilts the computer to a comfortable position is made of metal and feels very substantial. I don't notice much "wiggle" at all. It's quite sturdy! It fits my 16" HP laptop perfectly...there is less than an inch on each side of the stand that sticks out beyond the laptop. Although I haven't used it yet with a mouse, there is a very nice mouse pad built in to the unit. When my new mouse arrives, I'm sure I will love the textured, slightly rubbery-feeling mouse pad. All in all....great purchase, in my opinion. Update! I finally got my new mouse. Using it on the laptop stand's "mouse pad" is very comfortable. It allows your arm to hang naturally and the hand to hold the mouse without any odd kinks in the wrist. I thought the textured, rubbery service would work well, but i find that it is a bit "sticky" resulting in jerky mouse movements. But that's an easy fix. I happened to receive a piece of junk mail that is printed on smooth/glossy card stock. I placed it over the mouse pad and - boom! Fixed! Still loving the stand. It allows me to raise the laptop up and places the built-in webcam in a much better position (to take the emphasis off of my double chin) LOL! Stop browsing and buy this thing. It's great!

you can use this thing right out of the box, no setup, no problem figuring out how to use it. the part that sits on your lap is soft, lightweight and comfortable, which would have been a deal breaker for me were it otherwise. the well for the phone is a skosh deep, but it's better to keep it from dropping out and it doesn't interfere much with viewing the rest of the screen. the lip doesn't flip up and stay, you have to hold it up while maneuvering the laptop into place, but it helps grip a laptop into place rather than give it an opportunity to slide. the lip isn't really needed at all unless using a steep incline. very happy with my purchase and recommend it to others.

Wonderful for my purpose because I work from different locations. My only issue is that it can’t raise a little higher because some locations are set quite low. It looks like it should be heavy though but very light weight.

I work from home and was off and on getting headaches. Finally I noticed a pattern. On days when I spend a lot of time working on my laptop, which I used to keep on my lap, headache. I scoured the internet for the best fix for the situation. I stumbled upon this device and was amazed not only at the simplicity of the idea, but also at the fact that this is the only one of its kind that I found. How good could it be, if no one else is selling it? I decided to buy it anyway, and I'm glad I did! I've been using this thing for 3 months now and the headaches are completely gone. I very highly recommend this desk, which I used in flat mode as a couch table in the evening when I'm streaming a movie and want someplace to put my drink. Yes! Buy it now!

So far... I have had this 2 days and it is amazing! It has already decreased the neck pain from working on my laptop! I have a 17" laptop so it fills the stand, but it doesn't matter that I don't have a place for my mouse since I use a roller ball anyway and that sits next to me on the couch. They do show a picture or video of someone using a regular tethered mouse, but unless you raise it all the way up is the only way you could use the pad that is built in... but in a pinch I guess it would be ok? Who knew I can stop slouching over my laptop and my neck would stop hurting that quickly! I just wish I had found this a long time ago! Since I have only had it two days I don't typically make a review this quickly so if for some reason it fails me somewhere in the next 30 days I will update... But so far so GREAT!

This has been the best lap stand I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried quite a few. The moment you set it across your lap, it feels light, stable, and instantly easy to settle into, almost like it disappears into the background while still doing exactly what you need it to do. It has a sturdy, well-made feel without being heavy or awkward, so it rests comfortably whether you’re sitting upright in a chair or relaxing in bed. Instead of shifting around or feeling bulky, it gives your laptop a smooth, balanced place to sit, making it much easier to stay comfortable for longer periods. What I like most about this model is how naturally it fits into everyday use. It creates that simple, relaxed feeling of having your laptop positioned just right, so you can focus on working, browsing, or watching something without constantly adjusting your setup.

Bad: The raising mechanism is a bit shaky and can lock in a non-level state. The angle of the keyboard is not great, is not very adjustable nor comfortable. No ventilation for the bottom fan of the laptop. The mouse table is not convenient being located under the keyboard. It is not really accessible when the platform is lower. The mouse comes sliding out when the unit on my lap at a slight angle. Good: The bottom lap pad is comfortable. The unit is better constructed, less likely to break, than some of the other plastic lap top holders I've owned.

Changing my previous rating from 3 to 1 star. Do NOT waste your hard earned money on this thing. I literally use it everyday and with each passing day it seems to fail a little more. So much now that I want to replace it and it's only been 6 months! The device at the edge meant to hold the laptop in place gets weaker over time and allows the laptop to slide off it's platform. Secondly, I wished this thing would let you have more control over the angle. Many instances where I have not needed a steep angle for use but, there is nothing I can do to adjust. Now it's $50? NOT WORTH IT.

総じて使いやすいです。 たたむと壁に立てかけて置いたり、隙間に収納できたりすることができるくらいの薄さになるので、いちいち場所を気にする必要はありません。 サイドのレバーを少し外に引っ張ればバネの力で自然と上がってくれるので、動作に力を使う事はほとんどないです。 膝に乗せるだけじゃなくて、テーブルに乗せて使うこともできるので、実質オールラウンダーだと思ってます。 底面がメッシュなので、熱がこもることもないです。

Arrived well packaged. Well build without being heavy . Cushioning is great when using with my iPad. I use on my legs when my legs are on a footstool;very comfortable and keeps my neck position straighter. Opening and closing a bit stiff but that keeps it sturdy. For me, I classify it as a very good purchase.

It was well packaged, sturdy and was built with great quality materials. Big enough for 15” laptop and still have an ample space for taking notes. No complains here and no setup required !!! It can even be used as table for two to dine in or for two to have a cup of coffee. You can even bring it outdoors for camping or for an afternoon picnic at the park when summer comes !!! Excellent product!
